Our host's driver picked us up at the airport and took us straight to the front door where we were met by the host. Beautiful old apartment with period features and large rooms and with the benefit of two modern shower rooms.
The location is in a busy bustling street and if you slept in one of the front bedrooms it was difficult to get to sleep until the little bar across the road shut. If you are younger and a night bird this would probably not bother you.
The area is ideal for getting to all attractions, we were able to walk to Vatican, Colloseum, Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps etc and over the river to Trastevere. The only time we took a taxi was to go to the football at the Olympic Stadium. Our host arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport, everything went smppthly
Absolutely fantastic apartment, located in the heart of Rome. Everything was in walking distance. Lovely bars and restaurants located right on the doorstep. For those who do not wish to walk everywhere, there is a taxi rank approx 100m away. Patricia was very easy to deal with. Always answering our questions promptly. She even arranged the taxi transfers from the airport and back. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. The 17th century interior decoration is exactly as displayed in the photographs.

Patrizia's apartment is a grand home away from home, right in the heart of Rome, just a few steps from Piazza Navona. On a great street, with good shops, a small but well stocked supermarket and lots of places to eat and drink, the apartment has elegant heritage features as well as modern creature comforts. The street is very lively, so you may find two of the three bedrooms a bit noisier than you're used to, but for me it was a bit like going to sleep listening to my parents' dinner parties when I was little.

Patrizia is perfect host, arranging our airport transfers and responding quickly to any queries before we arrived and during our stay. She met us on our arrival at the apartment to show us round.
The apartment is decorated to a high standard and has many period features. It has an opulent feeling dating back to the time when used by the Pope. It did not disappoint.
The location could not be better. Piazza Navona is only a few steps away and many other sites of interest are within easy walking distance, including the Pantheon, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and the Forum. We did get a taxi from the end of the street when we had tours booked to save our energy. There are many restaurants in the surrounding streets and a well stocked Carrefour supermarket 5 minutes away.
The only negative was the noise from the restaurants in the street outside, which went on quite late. As both twin rooms overlook the street this is something you may wish to consider if you want an early night. The double room is very quiet and we were therefore able to rearrange to solve this for our two children.

My family stayed in this wonderful 3BR apartment in Rome last week. My kids (ages 7, 6 & 4) loved it. The apartment had old world charm, but the bathrooms and kitchen were recently updated and very nice. The A/C was a life saver. The location could not be better. Patrizia was a wonderful resource and arranged for airport transportation.

Stayed for 3 nights with our child and parents and wish we could have stayed longer. There's a small elevator, but apt is up only one flight of stairs and the Wifi works well. Patrizia was quick to respond to any questions prior to booking and was also fast with refunding the deposit. She helped to organize transport, greeted us at the beautiful apartment and shared wonderful dinner recommendations all within less than 5 min walk. Piazza Navona around the corner. This apartment is a beautiful historical home with well appointed and decorated with gorgeous ceilings - supposedly the Pope's family lived in the building. We'll definitely book again if we return to Rome with friends or family.

My wife and I along with our two grown up children (18 & 20) stayed in this fantastic apartment for 5 nights in September 2014. Communication with Patrizia was easy. We had emailed her our arrival details and she was waiting to greet us as we pulled up in the taxi. She showed us around the apartment making us feel very welcome and recommended some local eateries. We think we may have been the first guests to stay in this apartment after it's refurbishment. From the marble staircases to the crystal chandeliers, the wood carved high ceilings and the hand painted doors and co-ordinating furniture, this apartment epitomises luxury. Location was great, the Vatican, Spanish steps, Ancient ruins and Pantheon were all within easy walking distance. We took a bus to the Colosseum to preserve energy for later in the day. Piazza Navona and Campo were just a couple of streets away. Piazza Navona was a lovely place to walk to in the evening, and have a meal whilst people watching. There are plenty of great places to eat and we found the better, authentic and cheaper places were in the roads away from the square. There is a small well stocked Carrefour just a short walk away and plenty of places to have breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. The bedrooms were comfortable and we had no issues with the beds. Showers and facilities top quality. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and it was adequate. Fantastic ceilings in the bedrooms, hall and lounge. TV had access to many channels and some had English audio, although we spent most of our time exploring this great city. The two single bed bedrooms and lounge overlooked an alleyway with bars and restaurants so there was some noise from the wine bars until about midnight. But equally it was also interesting to look out, watch people go by and listen to the accordion player.
Great place, great city.
