“Lovely Big apartment in Florence”
Reviewed January 29, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We loved the big apartment - Our teenagers both had their own rooms and bathrooms.

It was a 15 minute walk to the middle of downtown Florence.

Gabriele was very pleasant to deal with and met us with a bottle of wine.

There is a large supermarket around the courner for those self catering.

The water supply was a little fiddly to get just right, but cant think of anything else to fault the apartment.

“Beautiful apartment in a great location!”

The apartment was excellent, beautiful, spacious rooms. The kitchen area is on the small side for the size of apartment but perfectly adequate and stocked with absolutely every dish and implement you could possibly want. The apartment furnishings are lovely, so much thought must have gone into the design and fitting. It was very hot when we were in Rome but the air conditioning worked perfectly.

The hosts are very thoughtful and provide everything from toilet paper to a sewing kit.

The area is buzzing and the bar and restaurant just below the apartment are excellent. The transport links are good and Silvia, who met us on check-in, was a mine of information and a lovely girl.

“Roomy and Comfortable Apartment”
Reviewed June 18, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

My wife and three boys stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Rome. The apartment is in an off the path neighborhood. It is very close to the university where students hand out at the local bars and pizzerias. The apartment is on the top floor. You can take the many stairs to get up there or a small elevator which fits 3 or 4 max.
The rooms were large and comfortable. The place had a small but nice kitchen. We ate out but enjoyed keeping cold bottles of water in the refrigerator and freezer.
The two bathrooms are nice. The only negative things are that the showers are tight and we found the bath towels a bit hard.
Otherwise, the place was quiet and comfortable and very economical compared to a hotel. The young lady that met us, Silvia, was very helpful and answered many questions.

“Great apartment”

We have had a great time here in Rome, and in the apartment. In fact, the longer we stay, the more reluctant we wish to leave. The nearby Tram 3 could easily took us to Collosseum, and bus 492 coverd lots of downtown view spots.

“Fantastic Large Apartment, Great Value”
Reviewed January 8, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks as a family, and it was great. Everything was clean and well kept, and the kitchen was well stocked. In fact, our older daughter had just finished studying in Rome for almost 4 months, but in a different apartment elsewhere in Rome. She said this kitchen was much larger than she had: we even cooked Christmas dinner here.

It would be especially nice for longer stays or stays with multiple family members like we had. 2 modern bathrooms and the 3 bedrooms were all large. The 2 extra bedrooms and 1 bath are separated by another door for more privacy.

Owner very helpful and accommodating, had basic toiletries stocked, and even umbrellas in the closet.

The only potential negative is that it is not in a big tourist area, but it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the main Metro stop, or about a 10 Euro taxi ride back. There were markets, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Even though a quieter area than most tourist areas, the 2 extra bedrooms do overlook the Piazza, and noise could be heard on the weekends in only those bedrooms.

The price is very reasonable compared to much smaller apartments that rented for much more money! Worth the extra walk or taxi ride.

“Excellent apartment.”

Excellent apartment which is exactly as described. Everything worked and it was nice and comfortable. Took me a little while to get the hang of transport but once i did everything was within easy reach. You can see the tram line from the balcony. If you walk to the street with the tram and turn right there is a tram stop. It is not very noticable but is there. You can take the tram and get out at manzoni - from there you can link with metro and you are in business.

“Three Bedrooms with Style”

Gorgeous, spacious apartment in an off-the-tourist-path, young, hip neighborhood in Rome. The host is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is fantastic. Great for a family, and great for two or three couples, too. It's also really close to a small health-food store and macrobiotic restaurant, as well as everything you might need. Good view over the piazza, which gets pretty busy late on weekend nights but isn't very loud up on the sixth floor. Really, you can't do much better than this. It's an excellent value.
