Description: Casina Valadier is the jewel of Pincio, located in the heart of Villa Borghese seems to dominate in all its beauty, the Eternal City. Our restaurant offers "the most beautiful point of view of Rome" as well as supply food and wine. In this magical and elegant atmosphere you can sample the delights from the chef Massimo D'innocenti awarded two Gambero Rosso forks, drinking wine and admire the breathtaking panorama that made famous this location as one of the most romantic, beautiful and charming of the world. Our location has 4 floors, 3 terraces and a garden for corporate events, weddings, gala dinners.

I had the chance to eat and enjoy many starred restaurants (France, Spain, United States and Italy too) and I can undoubtedly state that “Casina Valadier” has nothing to learn and a lot to share with those well known restaurants, plus is one/two time cheaper.
Nevertheles a little misunderstanding with the booking (person in charge mistaken the day) the Maitre, Mr. Fabio D’Alessandro hosted us in an excellent and professional way and even there were very few available tables he gave us a wonderful table with an amazing view of the Eternal City.
We immediately felt to be in a magic place with an unique flavour; the nightsight of Rome, wonderful people, an outstanding service very gentle and flawless in explaining and advising on the different dishes. The Lady sommelier, Lucilla, added emotion on emotion letting us to enjoy an awesome Franciacorta after explaining in which way it was created. The restaurant was full booked but everything seemed to be under an easy and confident control. The waitress were perfectly organized and spoiled the guests at the utmost level smiling and being available at any requests.
Last but not least, at the end of the dinner the Maitre Fabio introduced us the Chef Massimo D’Innocenzo and we were really honoured to meet and thank him and all his Staff.
I wish to ending my review saying that even if You are not starred You are lucky to have already them; Fabio, Lucilla and Massimo. Hope to see You soon. Arrivederci and thank You for the marvellous feeling you left in us!!!

The view of Rome is like a classical painting.
The building is situated in a park, a peaceful stroll from the Spanish Steps.
The menu is a selection of classic regional dishes from Italy, competently executed.

Set in a villa, Casina Caladier is the sort of place you'd expect to see Sir Winston Churchill at the next table. With a backdrop of the stunning Rome skyline and classic Italian food done properly, this is a place to impress and be impressed.

This is our favorite restaurant in Rome. It is set in a old villa high on a hill overloking the city.
The food is excellent (but can be pricey). The service is great. we look forward to going here every time we come to Rome.
A more economical option may be the lunch in the garden cafe (?after a visit to the Galleria Borghese- it's only a short walk away)

Two things to come here are: view and place. The food is nothing special concerning prices and reputation! What made me feel bad about this place is service!
So, I don't why three waiters served our table and there were just two of us and noone there around. That kind of rudeness and complete lack of serving knowledge I haven't seen so far!
For example: I'm quite sure that waiters of that kind of restaurant sholud know to greet properly the guests, not just stay by the table complete mute, move away an ashtray if it is used when the food is on the table, not moving away empty bottles till the very end of the lunch! And I have to emphasize that no other guests were around just our table. What makes me angry is that place is fancy by the name and the position in the city therefore the price proves that as the service should too!
