“Romantic hotel with lovely rooms”
Reviewed March 3, 2014 via mobile

We stayed at Suite Sistina during our honeymoon in June 2012 for 4 nights. The location of the hotel is amazing, conveniently located walking distance from the Spanish Steps.

We stayed at the Bianca suite, the room was very spacious and romantic. There was a separate dining area where we had our breakfast. We had to complete the breakfast paper and hang it outside of our door at night. It came with our choice of eggs, muffins, bread, fruit basket, yoghurt, jams, butter, and nutella. We fell in love with the breakfast and the way the staff set up our table (see attached picture).

The staff were great and very helpful. They had cute gestures, sticking notes with how the weather was going to be the following day with a cute drawing next to it (see attached picture).

The only con was that there was only a tiny open cupboard for hanging our clothes with no additional drawers or shelves; so we were living out of our suitcase.

I would recommend this boutique hotel to couples, very romantic and nicely set up rooms. If we were to visit Rome again, we would definitely repeat our stay at Suite Sistina.

Me and my Girlfriend went for 3 nights and the room was amazing! I only have one 'con' to the million 'pros' i have, when we booked the room they all advised they had 'City Views' none do, however this didn't bother us at all as the staff and the room was amazing!

When we arrived someone (I think his name was John) helped us with our bags up the stairs (All marble Floors). Once given the room card/keys he ran us through the basics etc. To what we didn't know the mini bar is free! food and drink (alcohol and non-alcoholic) gets re stocked everyday, Also breakfast was selected at what ever time we wished and selected on a a huge menu ranges from fresh croissants to bacon/eggs etc, all delivered to your room and set up at no additional charge!

The room is very spacious and always cleaned to a very high standard! I have read reviews on this hotel and all were amazing bar a few negative comments which are rubbish! there may be no wardrobe but plenty of space to hang clothes up.

Hotel is ideal for adventuring Rome! stone throw away from 'The Spanish Steps'. 2-4 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, 20 minute walk to the Colosseum (Which is out of this World! Phenomenal!!) and the longest was the Vatican around 30 minutes. however the is so much to see whilst walking to these iconic spots.

I would highly recommend the hotel, it is a first look if visiting Rome, location/hotel/staff were amazing and friendly!

***Amazing Tip - If visiting the Colosseum to avoid the 1.5 - 2 hour queue, go across to the roman forum entrance (usually 5 people in the queue instead of 500) and purchase tickets there, then walk to the Colosseum straight to the turnstiles to enter as the ticket is for both Colosseum and roman forum.

Room Tip: All Rooms are amazing!! Anything you need the staff will do anything to help!

I was at this hotel for one night for my birthday with my boyfriend. He had booked a suite for us (The Deep Purple Room) - but when we arrived, the manager said that they had a surprise for us - and he led us into the Presidential Suite, and said that they had decided to let us have it ! We were both so amazed and thankful that we didn't know what to do with ourselves - except say "thank you, grazie mille, thank you!" The hotel is located on Via Sistina, very close to Piazza di Spagne and very close to some of the best parts of Rome - but the entrance is a normal wooden door, which only has a small sign to show that it is the hotel. It almost feels like you've rented your own apartment, especially since the breakfast is served in your room - you get a flyer for the door which you fill out, and then cross over what you want for breakfast (there's all kinds of different juices, tea, coffee, pastries, bread, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, fruit and so on.. ) and it's then delivered on your chosen time the next morning... wow.

An amazing hotel, amazing service and amazing location - what more do you want?

This is perfect in every way for couples - as mentioned below, its all about the rooms - we stayed in the Notte Blanca and loved it. The suite was very chic and a great hide away from the rest of the world...i wouldnt stay anywhere else in Rome. Amazing location right at the top of the Spanish steps. Pretty much a 10 minute walk to anywhere....Staff couldnt be any more helpful - made our stay unforgettable....one of my favourite hotels.

Room Tip: Get one of the executive suites - very spacious! Paying the extra is worth it

Suite Sistina was one of the best choices I made in our Rome vacation. Close to all those remarkable monuments people must see if they were in Rome. Around the corner the Spanish step, a little walk and Villa Borghese. With easy walk you can reach almost every destination that are on the must-see list. Moreover the hotel is just charming. Small but adequate to host visitors who are annoyed from croweded huge hotels. The room was just perfect. Mosaic floor, huge bath tube, state of the art entertainment system, bed enough for even 3 ppl, breakfast that arrived on time, every day. It's like you have an on apartment with charlady. Price is reasonable, compering other hotels with similar location and room size without the feeling of hotel accomodation.

we stayed with my wifw at the suite sistins for a long weekend. the location of the hotel is exellent just a few steps from the Spanish steps. the room was very big for Rome and the breakfast very rich and tasty, served in the room at the exact time you have asked.
for sure it is not a family hotel but is is ideal for couples asking for something difirent for a break.
