“Great location, value and service”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

We stayed here for two nights and were happy. The service was great and the hosts always helpful. Its an easy walk from Termini so its close to good food and also the Metro and bus stations for touring.

The room was comfortable and had a nice ensuite. It also had A/C but it was also noisy- better than having the windows open though. The furnishings in the room were nice and clean.

Wifi struggled to reach our room but is freely available. It stopped working once and the host went to the seventh floor immediately to reset the modem which is nice.

Overall a good place to stay for a few nights and great value.

I was very impressed with this B & B from the minute we walked in we were give a warm welcome. The rooms were adequate for two people with enough room to lay your things out. When I asked the reception to give me a recommendation they gave us a nice traditional Italian restaurant around the corner which when we mentioned we were staying there were give a discount of 10% which is much appreciated when travelling on a budget. The location isn't right in the heart of things but it is a cheap cab or bus ride away. The breakfast was amazing as well and the portions were just right. We had an early flight out and they even gave us a boxed breakfast to go. If I ever make it back to Rome I'll definitely be staying here.

Stayed in this hotel for 2nights. The room was very very SMALL!!! not even a small space to move around. We booked a quadruple room, but when we reached there it was very very very small. I think they changed our room. Location of the hotel is central, but the area is not that good/safe. Staff is excellent, very helpful. Breakfast was also good.

Stayed a total of 6 nights in this hotel during the month of may. First, we stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of our trip through Italy and then a final night at the end of our vacations. The first 5 nights were fine. The hotel is located very close to Termini station, which is great if you have to catch a train or the subway. Also the building has an elevator, nice detail when you’re carrying your bags. We were on a room on the second floor of the building; the room was clean, warm and bright, with a window looking to a street (the noise coming for the street it’s not much if you’re used to live in a big city). The bathroom was also clean (but without soap, so bring your own!), the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfortable and we managed to have a great sleep each night. Free wifi on the rooms and a public computer on the living room also free for use.

The breakfast was served every morning on our room or in the kitchen, it included juice, cereal (like corn flakes and cioco smiles), bread, butter/jelly/nutella, a croissant, milk, coffee and yogurt. It was a good breakfast. The lady who prepared the breakfast was very nice. Also, you can use the kitchen for cook your own meals or storage your drinks in the fridge.

Personally, we didn’t have the opportunity to talk much to the owners, so I can’t talk much about them. We arrived late at night and some other guys greeted us. Maybe it was because of this that we didn’t get a map or advices about the places we could visit (but that wasn’t a problem since there’s a tourist point in the Termini station, just 2 minutes (or less) walking from the hotel).

Overall, it was a nice accommodation, for a reasonable price (considering it’s Rome), close to the subway (which take you just in a couple of minutes to all the major sights or if you prefer to walk the hotel is just 20-30 minutes walking to the colosseum) and the train, comfortable and clean.

Just 2 final comments: first, some mornings we woke up really early (at 6:30 am) because of the tourists talking very loud in the living room! The walls of this hotel are paper thin! And second, the final night of our vacation, after touring through Italy, we came back to this hotel for just one night. We were told they had a problem with the bathroom and we were sent to another hostel which wasn’t nice at all!! Luckily we payed less for the other hostel, but still it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the living room if you don't want to wake up early in the morning.

Literally two minutes from Termini station (central station) which means great access to different landmarks. A ticket that lasts a day costs only 4 euros, so this was our preferred method of travel. Really clean and comfortable rooms, with free internet access which was great. The continental breakfast was lovely and on time each morning. And the staff were very friendly and hardworking. They gave us a map and showed us how to see all the landmarks. They also passed their number to us after we'd found ourselves in a spot of bother in case it were to happen again, which made us feel a lot safer. This was a great B&B, I'd definitely stay again.

This B & B was perfect for our short stay in Rome. It is located a few blocks from Termini Station so was very easy to get to. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating! Breakfast was served in our room at the time we chose, and this consisted of bread, croissants, cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice. They also recommended a lovely place for dinner, where we got a discount when we mentioned we were staying at the B & B.
This B & B was great value for money- the rooms were great, location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to do anything to help you. Recommended!
