“Amazing Ancient Rome tour”
Reviewed January 19, 2011

My family and I had a simply wonderful time on the ancient Rome tour. Our tour guide, Rossa, was incredibly knowledgeable and told us great stories about the mechanics of ancient Rome. He took our pace and never made us fel rushed or bored. I am so glad we took this tour; there is no way we could have seen everything without Rossa's guidance. A must for anyone interested in Roman History.

“Wonderful Vatican Tour!”
Reviewed November 11, 2010

We were in Rome just last month for our honeymoon and took the Vatican tour with Rossa. Over 10 years ago I took an Art History course and I remembered a few things about the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. But Rossa brought everything to life for us by telling us the stories behind the art and pointing out the details that the average person might miss. I learned more with him than I did in an entire semester of that class. And my husband knew none of it... but he was so amazed to hear all of the stories and see all of the details that Rossa pointed out to us in a very friendly, simple but smart, interesting and fun way. We learned a lot and were completely entertained. Rossa was great, remained true and very respectful to both the history of the art and the city itself. It's a must, if you're visiting the Vatican, to take a tour. And this tour was excellent! Truly!

“Amazing, Extraoardinary Edenventure”
Reviewed November 2, 2010

We did 8 hours of private touring in total - the Sunset Tour (2hrs) with Catherine and then Ancient Rome (3hrs) and The Vatican (3hrs) with Rossa. They were both fun, hugely knowledgeable and easy to understand. They brought Rome to life for us, told us stuff we'd never find in books and both myself, my wife and our 18 year old daughter left Rome feeling we'd learnt masses about the City and hungry for more. We also did a day trip from Rome to Pompeii (not with Eden ) and that was a great way to finish our tour as it put everything we learned into perspective. As a family, we set high standards and Eden Walks both met and exceeded them. Worth every Euro, we cannot recommend them enough!

“Fantastic walks in Rome with Eden Walks”
Reviewed November 1, 2010

We did the Rome at Sunset Walk and the Vatican tour last week. Rossa from Eden walks was an ideal guide. He was very knowledgable but tailored the walks to his group well, so not too much information at one time. Listened to questions from the group.
Used his good sense of humour a lot too!

Informative, enjoyable and fun.

“Amazing Night Tour”
Reviewed October 14, 2010

Our guide was well infomred, natural and able to answewr a wide range of questions. We were thoroughly impressed as he seemed to talk easily about a wide range of history from emperoros like Septimus Severus, (we saw his arch light up at night and it was literally breathtaking), to where Il Duce (Mussolini) took one of his most famous photos (the one where he's on the balcony making a speech to the troops below). He was very enthusiastic about the history, the architecture, of course trying to help us understand the basic events that shaped the city and its monuments. He also knew the current happenings around the city and suggested areas to go as well as areas to avoid on our stay. We all loved our tour, we loved our guide, and because of Eden Walks, we loved Rome.!
