“A home away from home”

The Home in Rome is the perfect name for this bed and breakfast because you genuinely feel that you are in a home! Clean rooms, clean bathroom. Only a short walk away from the metro stop. Very convenient especially if you are traveling on a budget. Very nice staff. Staying here enhanced my stay in Rome! Recommend this to anyone!

We were attracted to The Home in Rome by the good reviews and the family room in which we and our two young children could all sleep together. Our room was large, comfortable and everything was very clean. There was a communal dining room with a sofa and small terrace containing Tourist books and guides which we used a lot. The B&B is in an apartment building in a quiet suburb of Rome within a short distance of the Metro and with a bus stop for the city centre just outside.

Despite not being Jewish ourselves we were made very welcome and were provided with a map of the city and given some very useful time, and cost saving Tourist advice. Jade was very kind and encouraged us to take food to feed the Children during the day to keep them going.

All in all we had a marvellous stay and would not hesitate to recommend to anybody.

The Home in Rome is perfect for anyone in Rome to see Rome and save money for museums and meals instead of spending on a room they'll only be sleeping in. The location is incredibly convenient, one short block to the Bologna metro stop. The staff are wonderful; Jade took the time to fill us on all essentials for visiting Rome. The Home is spotless, gleaming floors, not a speck of dust. There is nothing too fancy, but all you need and more.

My family and I stayed at "home in rome" 4 days. The place is really like a home, clean and very pleasant. the hotel is near the Metro. also, they gived rich and kosher breakfast. They tried hard to make us feel good. Avraham and Dina gave us good tips: where to go and what to see. In short: realy a very good hotel.

It's the second time we stayed in this B&B in Rome and in my travel experience I never had such best experience like this. The warm welcome they give is just excellent. Room large and top cleaned. Kosher breakfast is huge and they never stop to give you food. The owners are amazing people, very kind and always ready to help you in any needs you may have. Very central: 3 stops to Roma Termini stations and comparing with the top quality you receive is very cheap! If you go in Rome....you can't miss it! Home in Rome!

What to say ? We are not the usual tourists. We don't think that you can learn to know a country staying in an international hotel and going only to the touristic places.
We liked the home in Rome because it was exactly that, an insight in the live of an italian family, a lovely place to not only look to the beautiful places but enjoy and begin to understand the italian way of doing things.
This hotel is in a suburban part of the town but it's very easy to get to the center of Rome and the owner and his daughter made sure we were feeling comfortable and welcomed every day.

My son and I stayed for a week in August and felt extremely comfortable in this lovely little place near Piazza Bologna. The interior is very nice and clean with a big diningroom and a balcony shared by all guests. On shabbat the owner arranged catered food for the three families staying there, and set up a nice table and a platte. We were invited to kiddush at the lovely little shul two minutes away.
My son was very happy as there were three other teenagers, and the young people were treated very warmly, as were all of us.
We received help wit everything possible and the owner came every morning to see that everybody was ok.
The neighborhood is safe and has a kosher cafe/pizzaplace, restaurants and shops.

Room Tip: There are two rooms with private bathrooms, they need to be booked long time in advance. But sharing...
