Gregory was caring, courteous and vastly knowledgable about the Vatican Museums and Basilica. He showed good taste in conduct and appearance and shared information in a very personable, easy to understand way. Mario was flexible, dedicated, passionate, and talented. While touring the Colosseum area with him, Mario brought ancient Rome alive for us with his engaging personality and stories of the past. The premiere service and fair pricing we received from Through Eternity was way above average of the norm.

We just returned from Florence and possibly the best experience we had in Florence was the two tours we took with Through Eternity. What a refreshing relief to take these tours. As you watch the gigantic tours following the guide with the raised sign or umbrella, ear pieces in their ears walking solmenly through the city and sites it was so delightful to have such a personal tour. We had two tours; one, the Medici of Florence, we were the only couple, and the Uffizi and Academia, we were one of only three couples. Out guide for both tours was Angelo; he was extremely professional, and passionate about the tours and sites.

We had almost the identical tour experience in Rome two years ago. Highly, highly recommended for the value, the interest level and the ability for the guide to bring the subject alive.

While in Italy we took three tours with Through Eternity - In Rome we took the The 5 hour tour of the Vatican, as well as the Underground Rome tour. Each were excellent. I would highly recommend the 5 hour tour of the Vatican over the shorter tour, as there is so much to see here. The Underground Rome tour was extremely memorable and fascinating. Truely mind boggling how rome is a city built upon an older city, upon an older city.

In Florence we took The Florence of the Medici tour - also excellent. So many details, and three hours was truly not enough to capture all there is to learn in this city that is the home of the Renaissance. Each of the tours provided context for the sights we were seeing, and really helped us appreciate the history of the area. I would take more tours through this company if the opportunity ever arose again, and am recommending to all friends and family who travel to Italy!

My husband and I took 4 tours and all were great. John did our tour of the Colliseum, Mario did 2 tours, the Bourgazi Galleries and the Love and Death tour, and Cynthia did the Vatican. I found them all to be knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and professional. All 4 tours started on time and I highly recommend them!

During a trip to Rome in October 2012, my husband and I booked 2 tours with Through Eternity and they were the highlights of our visit. The first tour was a semi-private tour (with 6 others) of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's (with the tour visiting the Sistine Chapel and hour before it opened to the public). Marco provided the best art tour in our entire lives! His iPad presentation in the Sistine Chapel and the rest of the tour was outstanding. He was fabulous in his knowledge of art history and the Vatican generally, and he had a great ability to highlight interesting facts about the works of art. Moreover, he made the tour very enjoyable because of his excellent English and his incredible logistical abilities -- the attention to detail that makes a long tour easier -- such as coffee before the tour, great pacing of the tour, his ability to keep the group together, and eating lunch at 11:30 before the crowds arrived.

Many friends have visited the Vatican and complained that the crowds limited their enjoyment. Entering the Sistine Chapel before it opened to the public and having a guide as talented as Marco made our Vatican visit an art experience of a lifetime!

The second tour was a tour of the Roman Forum and the Colusseum with Allesia. She was EXTREMELY knowledgeable (with a degree in archeology) and very enthusiastic about her subject. She was patient in answering many questions and provided many interesting insights. She did not rush us even though we went over the allotted time. She was very helpful in recommending a restaurant nearby the Colosseum called the Forum to eat lunch at after the tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. She also recommended visiting the Capitaline Hill after our tour, and we would have missed it without her recommendation. Allesia is a gem and her tour was one of the major highlights of our trip to Rome!
