We were in the adjoining building with a rustic suite reached by an amazing vintage lift.
The reception staff at the main hotel were friendly and helpful and recommended a great restaurant 5 minutes away which we ate in throughout our stay.
The suite provides two TVs and unique classic features. Unfortunately the room overlooked a grim and dingy courtyard which spoilt the overall ambience.
The main hotel bar is lovely and we enjoyed the 'happy hour - glass of wine and treats' on our first evening.
The breakfast is served in a roof terrace with panoramic views of Rome. Unfortunately the breakfast itself is very poor with little choice and a budget feel to it. We were very disappointed the terrace area with the best views was closed on both mornings which rather defeated the object.
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay here and it was good value.More
