“Great Location and Wonderful Host!!”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

This b&b is in a great location - right next to a metro stop and just a ten minute walk from the Coliseum! No matter how you're getting into Rome, it's pretty easy to find this place and get around the city, which makes life so much easier. Laura, the owner, is absolutely wonderful and such a sweetheart! She helps you plan out your stay and gives you tips on just about everything, ranging from restaurants to galleries. She even helped us book tickets for the Borghese Gallery which was by far the best place I've been to in Rome! Breakfast is delicious every morning, and definitely plenty of good food to get you off to the right start :) The rooms are large, clean, and the one I was in even had a TV. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans on staying in Rome!!

Room Tip: My friend and I stayed in the room with a shared bathroom, and it was not a problem at all! The bath...

Stayed here with my daughter for a couple of days to explore Rome. We had an excellent stay, the room was spacious, comfy and very clean, same for the bathroom. The bathroom was shared, but only between two rooms, and it wasn't a problem at all. Towels, shower gel, hair dryer, access to a fridge were all available free of charge. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe to walk back to at night. The metro station was close by, and there is also a tram to Termini during a day.
Our host, Laura was very helpful and friendly. She welcomed us with a map of the city and a quick brief of the public transport we could take to get back to the accommodation. We had plenty of friendly chats with her, she has a good sense of humour and goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. She provided ample (and delicious) food for breakfast, always took note of personal preferences and catered for them when possible. She really makes you feel more at home, and your stay more a personal experience. She helped us a lot with Villa Borghese, she phoned the place when we called her that our bus was late, and they held the tickets for us thanks to her (it was also her who reserved them for s in the first place).
We can only recommend this bed and breakfast if you are staying in Rome, we had a great holiday here, and felt like we have made a new friend there.
As a little bonus for any cat lovers, there is a cat called Milu, who is very shy, but very sweet, and can be petted if desired, but is otherwise kept away from guests.

The location is a quieter street not far from the metro and we were easily able to see all the sights. Laura was great and Claudio was helpful as well. She was very helpful about getting around the city. We scheduled our stay knowing that the last night we would have to find another place to stay and Laura was very helpful. She coordinated everything and allowed us to leave our luggage with her for our last full day of sight seeing. We would stay here again. The only downside was the wifi was not reliable, but not a real problem.

Laura was welcoming and helpfull, she took a lot of time helping me plan my days and gave me travelling advices for public bus and metro system. The B&B is well connected with a metro station and several bus stops nearby. My room was very elegant, clean and comfortable. Rumba the dog was well behaved and very quiet. Breakfast was good with a excellent coffee and on the days I had an early tour Laura prepared a packed breakfast and a thermos of coffee was waiting for me. My flight home was scheduled late in the evening so Laura let me come back in the afternoon after and change before the flight. I would definitely return.

We picked Laura's B&B after a long search of places to stay in Rome. When we arrived, Laura sat us down with a map of the city and gave us tips and tricks for getting around and what to see. Without that map, we would never have seen as much of Rome as we did!

Laura is a very personable and friendly host. I got sick one night and had to cancel an event reservation. Laura handled the whole thing in rapid-fire Italian and managed to get me a full refund. When we left she helped us arrange an early-morning taxi to the airport. She really goes the extra mile for her guests!

The B&B is close to a Metro stop and a short walk to the Colosseum! Breakfast was provided every morning, with fresh bread, fruit, jam, cereal, juice and a hot drink. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the bed in our room was extremely comfortable. We could come and go as we pleased, which was nice as sometimes you need an afternoon break from sightseeing.

To people allergic to animals: Laura has a small dog and a cat. I'm allergic, but wasn't really affected since Laura keeps the house very clean and the pets are not allowed in the dining room or upstairs. Don't worry!

We had a great time in Rome, no doubt influenced by our stay at Aldebaran Bed & Breakfast. Grazie Laura for a wonderful experience! Your high rating is truly deserved!

We stayed here for only 2 nights but will certainly make it our first choice for any future stays in the eternal city. The B&B itself and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished, breakfast is excellent. Also well connected with a metro station and several bus stops nearby. The owner/manager Laura was kind enough to wait up until 2330 for us to get to the B&B after our flight was delayed. Her tips on where to go and what to eat were spot-on. All in all a wonderful experience. I would recommend this to anyone going to Rome. My only complaint, though no fault of Laura's, is that the site we booked the room through (expedia, i believe) advertised the room as having a private bathroom, while Laura warned me right away the bathroom was shared. So, be wary of booking websites! ;)

Stayed here in November, 2013. Laura was excellent hostess. This was quite close to the Metro and we used that to get around Rome. We also walked to the Coliseum, which gets you near to most Rome sights. Upon checking in they asked what we liked for breakfast, which I thought was a very excellent touch. We had been to Rome before, so we knew what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. But, Laura and Claudio were most informative about the things that tourists should know. She asks that you leave your shoes in the foyer.
