For us was a second times staying there, Relais le Clarisse is a best charming hotel from trastevere area.
Situated in a old monastery building(200years) with an amazing courtyard with a lot of lemon trees , is great experience to stay there.
Stuff is very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast also is great with homemade products served in the lovely courtyard.
we will definitely go back there.

Dear Guests,
we are so glad, thank you for chossing us once again!
Just one minor thing: actually this former convent is from XII century, so it is... 1200 years old! :-)

We will be waiting for you open arms for your third visit!

Warm regards

Only stayed for one night, but definitely recommend staying in Trastevere neighborhood and this hotel. Saved so much money by taking train from airport and tram that stops right outside the hotel. Tram also goes right into the heart of Rome. Very soft comfortable bed, and amazing water pressure in the shower. Convenient to all the cute cafes and restaurants in the area, enjoyed our stay and thought it was fun this was a converted convent!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid April. We would return in a heartbeat and we have already recommended it to friends. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities and room were spotless. The Breakfast was superb and there was a nice selection of food and drink. The cappuccinos from the machine were as good as any I had at coffee houses. Loved the guest room (Superior Double) with double doors opening into the courtyard. The room was smallish as all rooms tend to be in Italy but this one was very well appointed and equipped. An amazing advantage are the free smartphones available for your use. These have pre-loaded walking tours and audio guides for all major attractions in Rome. Location in Trastevere was amazing. This is a very charming area of Rome and the selection of cafe's and restaurants was spectacular. Wish I was still there.

Room tip: Get a room looking into the courtyard

I spent 3 solo nights in Rome and decided to stay at Relais Le Clarisse in Trastevere. From quick and easy email correspondence to the most available and interactive reception, this hotel was a home run. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Bed was comfortable and clean, made fresh every day. It was decorated beautifully. It was in the perfect location to all Trastevere restaurants and shops. I ubered into the city center everyday, which was not expensive and saved me time. Antonio gave me the most amazing recommendations and was kind and fun to see when I would arrive back to the hotel each day. They made it easy to arrange transportation to and from the airport. Everything was a BREEZE. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone to wants a beautiful, easy and clean hotel.

Cute, charming and different. The building used to house nones about 200 years ago, and is converted to a hotel. Doors, ceilings and windows are still the same, it takes you back in time. It is near all site seeing, 20 minute walk to colosseum and fountain. They offered a free cell phone with GPS in your room so you can go any where walking and come back to hotel without getting lost. Friendly service.
