I stayed three nights here with a friend and we had such a pleasant and fabulous experience. The room was adequately furnished; there is a TV, a shelf table with a chair, a double bed and a sofa that was comfortable and big enough to sleep an extra individual on it. The bathroom and shower especially was a revelation and something I wish I had at home- you may just be tempted to spend your entire mornings in Rome enjoying the Jacuzzi spa style shower :)). Other good things include the assortment of tea available to help yourself to in the hallway, the very old-style lift in the atrium and the view of the theater across the road if you manage to bag a room towards the front of the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located to explore Rome. Walking-wise, it is about 5-10mins from Termini station,15-20mins walk from the Colosseum and Rome Forum, and a reasonable walking distance from the rest of Rome's popular attractions. There is also a nice cafe a few doors away and a Barclays ATM just 2mins up the street. All in all the Al Viminale Hill Inn & Hotel is highly recommended if you are in the Rome area. Special mention goes to the staff member, Marco who checked us in and the free pizza voucher we were given as part of the booking; came in handy after a busy day exploring the sites.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel

We stayed four nights in January. Overall, the hotel was excellent. Service was helpful and friendly. Rooms are large, new, and comfortable. The room had safe, large flat screen TV, and amazing jacuzzi shower. Everything was new and functional.
The hotel is well located for Rome. It is steps away from both the Termini central station and Colosseo making it easy to get around the city. The hotel is walking distance to many business and tourist attractions.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is amazing, nice clean room, excellent service and at a good location. Nearly all major sights are within walking distance (except Vatican city). The hotel is close to Termini station and from there you can take the bus or metro/train. The staff is very polite and helpfull. Would definately recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for five nights in January and was really impressed. The staff were really helpful and on top of things. The rooms seem to be very nicely decorated and the bathroom was awesome. The shower had hydro therapy and what seem to be endless hot water. The hotel had good security so you could come and go as you pleased.
Only downer was the wifi. Although you could access it and get a decent signal it kept cutting out and going slow when it was abut to cut it while having a good signal.

i had a couples holiday here in late summer 2013
the location is convenient as it is walking distance from termini station as well as a 15 minute walk to the colloseum, trevi fountain and spanish steps
dont worry about breakfast not included the cafe a few doors down is very very cheap and very very nice.
make sure you use the rental dvd section (not huge but you will find a couple that take your fancy) as well as the special offers for the restaurant around the corner.
doorway isnt well marked so you may walk past it however once you know your fine.
rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable and are perfect for a short stay.
staff are very helpful and managed to help when i managed to lock my valuables in the safe

Room Tip: ask for an opera view as the side streets arent the best looking and maybe a room on a corner if yo...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 days in medio january.
We were very pleased with the stay. The hotel was nice and clean and the shower on our room on the fifth floor was amacing.
We were in walking distance from most of the major sights in the city. We could get in and out day and night and the staff was very helpfull and spoke good english.
The only downside was that the walls are thin, so you could hear the guests in the next room.
The best of it all was the price. We paid around 215 euros for four nights for both of us. It's not a luxury hotel but it's defenetly worth the money.
