This Marriott is beautiful, we stayed for 3 nights. We took a shuttle from the airport, only a few euros. Hotel lobby is very large with incredible ceiling painting. Breakfast fantastic, buffet style, you can request omelets, salmon etc- fantastic.Room very, very nice. Not large, but luxurious, beautiful furniture, bedding and bathroom, you really feel pampered. Hotel has huge outside pool with a guard - great if you come with children, you can just enjoy and relax. The guard was very attentive to us and friendly. We really enjoyed everything about this hotel. The only down side is its location, which is extremely lousy. Far from Rome centre We took a local bus that stops outside the hotel, down to the city. The ride is not great if you care about sightseeing. But, very cheap ride and it will take you where you need to get - Rome. Also, if you are a Marriott club member, this hotel has terrible lounge. But over all, I absolutely recommend this hotel, it is beautiful and we felt special.

Also, there is shuttle service that runs every 2hrs to downtown for those who have travel plans that accommodate (~30mins to travel each way). I arrived at Marriott Rome Park by airport shuttle. The hotel is very spacious. Also it's got a beautiful painting on the wall above the restaurant. Beds are OK. Cheap shuttle to city center. Overall no bad.

This is a very typical Marriott hotel, gorgeous, restaurant choices that work if you enjoy hotel food. Service I found a bit on the not as perfect as other Marriott locations, in that I had difficulty getting something as simple as a stamp for a post card since the concierge was not available. And the only way to buy bottled water is the 5 euro liter bottle at the bar.

The remoteness of this hotel though, was difficult for me. Yes, they provide a shuttle to city center, which a taxi would be about 50 euro each way. But they are so remote that within walking distance you honestly can not find any other food choices, fast or sit down, no convenience stores, nothing. It is like a hotel amongst hotels in a sort of business park area. I wish there had been a store to go get bottled water or snacks for instance, or another food choice without having to take a taxi. I guess it would have been practical to visit another hotel for a different food choice, but those were not exactly close either. And I am not a fan of hotel mini bar items or prices!

A pleasant hotel, but be cautious of the location depending on your plans.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in May.
The hotel is located about 30 minutes outside the city of Rome and provides a shuttle service to and from the city as well as the airport at a reasonable rate.
Since we had recently travelled to Rome being in the city was not important for us as we chose to explore areas outside the city.
We did use the shuttle to go into the city for a day and it served us well.
The hotel has a very nice ambiance and the service was fantastic throughout.
Our room was spacious and nicely decorated although the corner shower stalls could have been designed better.
The restaurant was very good but the menu is limited.
There are a few local restaurants a short cab ride away that are very good.
We did not have the chance to use the huge, very attractive pool but I wish that we had.
The spa has a jaccuzzi that is the size of most hotel pools, however there is a 10 Euro per person charge, per day of use.

Room Tip: Stay on the east side of the hotel as the sun makes the rooms very warm on the other side and the ai...

Nice-ish hotel just off the rig road (Grande Raccordo Anulare di Roma).
But BUSINESS is ALL.

You cannot go anywhere unless you take a TAXI (or Eur10/person SHUTTLE).
To use their facilities you need to pay extra.
It is about 15 minutes by Taxi to Fiumicino airport.
DO NOT USE IT AS HOLIDAY
USE IT IF YOU WANT YOUR GUESTS TO BE FULLY CONCENTRATED.
Food: It seems thie forte is dessert!
Rooms: Large clean spacious but NO IRON. Strange for a business oriented hotel.

I have read a lot of the negative feedback left by other customers to this hotel and it feels like I went to a different hotel!
I took my wife here as it was our 25th wedding anniversary (I should point out the hotel didn't know this) and from start to finish the experience was a pleasure, from the warm welcome to the very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
I had reservations before I arrived regarding the distance to Rome, but even that was efficient and overall well priced. We did try the public transport alternative once, never again! The air conditioned coach was just fine. Avoid peak times though and the traffic isn't really a problem either, 1/2 hour to 40 mins max. It was lovely having the best of both worlds, Rome by day and the quiet hotel by night.
We also spent the last couple of days by the very large and clean pool. The beer and ice cream, holiday stable diet, was cheaper than down town!
All in all all relaxing, pleasurable trip.
The only thing missing for me was possibly a bus to the beach as it it is virtually impossible to get there from the hotel. Maybe next time?
Thanks Rome Marriott Park !

Room Tip: Room overlooking pool was good.
