I cant understand all the negativity about this bed and breakfast.
We stayed in may and it was fine.
we only spent a few hours in the room in the day to change etc we were exploring rome as thats why we was there !
The room was clean and traditional, the breakfast was light but it was fine.
It was private and the Prati area was less touristy and cultural.

The host was helpful and left us alone . we only saw her when she brought breakfast every morning (on time)
i would recommend this bed and breakfast if you like to discover rome . it is just down the road from the vatican and some lovely food resturants .

Make sure you take the metro it is really easy and cheap, and stops at all the attractions.

Beware ladies not to wear dresses as you stand out, italian women dont show much flesh especially in the local areas such as prati!
Our break was value for money and if we were to go back to Rome we would stay at this bed and breakfast again !!

For the amount of money we paid the service we received by the Host and how we were greeted was uncalled for.

The host was overbearing rude when telling us what not to do in the apartment and was demanded money quickly instead of being a good host.
From the beginning we were in the building, she treated me and my fellow travelers like were were going to break things while also throwing up her hand when one of my friends was trying to ask a question saying "Give me the money".

At one point, I walked barefoot from my room to the bathroom and back to find out my feet blacked with dirt from the floors not being clean. The place smelled like it needed aired out and damp, bedding smelt like it wasn't washed, matress were at different heights and pillows were hard. It was hard to sleep in the morning because the busniess and traffic would make allot of noise starting at 5am. Appliances, old exercise equipment and old broken down furniture that probably was picked up on the side of a road had stickers on them with the replacement costs if they were broken if we used them, making the stay less enjoyable for all of us.

On "vbro.com", it was listed as having laundry services, air conditioning and wi-fi access. It did not. We were pointed in a direction to a laundry mat down the street and a internet café on a map. We were given one roll of toilet paper and told to buy our own as well as cleaning supplies to clean the apartment before we left.

Upon checking out, the Host counted out each plate setting and showed us a stove that didn't work before, flipped on each light switch to be sure the bulbs weren't burnt out, and looked thru the extra blanket area to be sure we didn't take any.
I would not recommend this place for anyone.

This place is AWFUL. Don't stay here!!
The location is ok but we soon found out there are tons of other hotels & B&B's in the same area (5 mins walk from the Vatican). Apart from that I have nothing good to say about this place. The pictures on the website don't fairly portray what the rooms are like in real life. We stayed in the blue room, but I can only imagine the other (yellow) room is similar. The bathroom is miniscule - if I wasn't a size 10 I'd have serious problems turning around with the door shut. The light in the bathroom was so dull that we had to shower with the door open, just to get some light from the bedroom to see what you're doing.
We stayed there three nights - by the second night I had bites all over me, by the third my boyfriend had the same problem. Bed bugs! I was scratching and itching all over in the night, so much so that I woke up exhausted from the lack of sleep.
The breakfast at this B&B is a joke. As my boyfriend said - 'it's half the bloody title!'. A horrible pre-packaged croissant stuffed with congealed jam, some crumbly melba toast & some orange juice (blatantly cheap squash, not pure juice) is what you'll find is offered. To top it all off, there is an odd stench in the reception area which frequently wafts through to the room, and the TV is smaller than my head (only four channels, luckily one is BBC news 24 which is in English).
Take our word for it, DO NOT STAY HERE, spend a bit more and stay somewhere you won't actually dread going back to after spending your days out in Rome!

This B&B was very close to the Vatican, and also very close to a “stop & go” bus stop (you buy a ticket for 12, 24, 36 hours etc. and can get on and off at any of 12 stops around the Rome attractions). The B&B itself does not have any parking available, there is a garage right next door but it will cost you 24 Euros a day (Roberto is the owner, very nice gentleman).

The B&B was only just acceptable, it wasn’t dirty but neither did we feel it was clean. It looked just like the pictures but much smaller (we stayed in the blue room). The bathroom was very small, the light switch is partially in the shower and the bathroom exhaust fan exhausts into the main room. The mattress on the bed needs to be replaced, we both kept rolling into the middle of the bed.

The breakfast part in Bed and Breakfast is a loose term in Italy apparently, our breakfast consisted of a pre-packaged croissant (one for each of us), some pre-packaged melba toast, fruit (that looked old), coffee, tea and juice. I didn’t expect a lot, but I did expect more.

The woman that run’s the B&B tried to be very helpful, but English is not her first language and it was sometimes hard to communicate.

You could open the window and lean out and watch the street life in the area. There are plenty of little restaurants and pizzerias in the area. There is one just around the corner and we could hear the laughter and somebody even started playing an accordion. The atmosphere of the distract was enthralling.
