It's a bit out of the way but its size makes worth the trip, especially if you need a break from looking at the antiquities.

Spacious Building designed by the amazing Zaha Hadid. Easy to get to by bus. Great modern space for contemporary art. We enjoyed the collection and the exhibition.

So much better than our Galleria Borghese experience. The staff here could not have been more helpful. No access issues at all here and a full understanding and clear explanation of what we could do and expect. All areas accessible. The exhibits are of course all modern art, some I got others I didn’t, but liked everything. The Marche earthquake exhibit was a very powerful piece, incredible but sympathetic and appropriate. Outside is an interesting take on what is found in the sea!!!

This museum was a great mix of contemporary art and architecture. It was such a nice break from the typical Roman art to see contemporary art, especially as I enjoy it more than Renaissance style. The world record exhibit, which has the room made of mattresses, was also a treat. I thoroughly enjoyed spending over two hours here on a rainy day and easily could’ve spent three.
