The accommodation is great and the location is brilliant at just 5 minutes walk from St Peters Square. The rooms are quiet and we slept well and there is a supermarket 50 metres away and a good wine shop across the street. All we wish to add is that the first time you visit you will probably have to bite the bullet and pay for a cab to get to this place as it is difficult to find. Once you know where it is however you can use public transport to get around quite easily.
A cab from Fumicino airport will probably cost at least 50 Euro or you could get a bus or a train from the airport to Termini and then get a cab from there and take your chances with the rather dubious integrity and highly questionnable driving skills of certain Roman taxi drivers.
The rooms do not have a safe and reception do not look after passports etc so you have to be a bit cunning about where exactly you leave things but the rooms are very secure. All in all a very good place to stay and now we know where it is we would definitely stay there again. One tip. Do not change your sterling or travellers cheques in Rome. The rate they give you is diabolical. Get your Euros here in the UK if you can.More
