Very friendly staff worked with us to stay two extra days, plus stored our luggage for free when we asked. Excellent breakfast buffet--far superior to other hotels in Italy. Rooms were quiet and spacious. Great value.

I was looking for something close to the train station and found this hotel online. When walking there it seemed like it was an a sketchy area with a lot of loiters on the streets surrounding the hotel. We were only staying here for one night, but wish we could have found something else. The room was freezing and we were not able to change the thermostat. The room had a couch with a few stains and just felt very dingy. It was not a place we would stay again.

This hotel is amazing 300 meters from the Termini, walking distance.
All the staff are cheerful, helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble from timetables to finding a place on the maps with best way to get there, local good restaurants etc. Lisa is an amazing receptionist, keep up the good work you are an asset to the hotel as are all the other staff.
The rooms are large, clean, air conditioned, modern and serviced every day, large clean bathroom (no bath) with shower, suites me better than bathing, so much quicker.
The breakfast is continental cold and hot self-service and is a very good spread as I have had in a 4 or 5 star hotel. (If you cannot find something you like it is time to stay at home.)
Only let down is no WIFI in rooms but easy access in the reception area.
Plenty of local good restaurants in a few minutes’ walk as are the underground, bus station and railway station. Just far enough out of the centre to be peaceful but near enough to walk to all the places of interest and more.
Cracking little hotel, I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone going to Rome.

Room Tip: all appear to be very good.

Don't stay here if you don't have to.
We were disappointed with this Hotel.
On check-in we were told that we were staying at another Hotel around the corner that night due to air conditioning problems (and that hotel was better the San Marco).
We checked in the next morning and were on the 4th floor, with 1 small elevator that was also used by housekeeping staff.
The front desk staff were an unhappy bunch.
We asked 3 times for an Iron only to be told that they couldn't find one then advised that it was 5 euros to hire an Iron !
The Breakfast was average with a small range of food available.
Location was good because it was only 300 metres to the train station but it is a fair way from the city itself.
Advertised as a 'budget hotel' and that is what it is, (we expected a little more from the

We stayed here for three nights in March 2013. The room was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the street. 5 minutes walk to the metro and the railway station. A 20 minute walk to the forum and historic centre down via nationale. There is a pleasant bar next door to the hotel and many other bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff were pleasant and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The breakfast was good. This budget hotel is ideal for a short city break. Only one lift can mean a wait if a big group is checking in or out.
