I had the pleasure of staying at the Boccadileone Suites also called the Portrait Suites at the end of July.
If you are looking for a hotel with a grand lobby and restaurant this is not the place for you. If your looking a luxury apartment with large stylish modern rooms & bathrooms this is the place for you. Expensive yes but worth the spend.
The location is one of the best in Rome. At the bottom of the Spanish Steps about one block up above the Farragamo Men Store. If it is your first time in Rome you may have a hard time finding it, the building at the time of my stay had no sign for the Hotel as they had only been open a few weeks. Take a cab or car.
Service was excellent. Breakfast is included. The only meal offered at the hotel. It is served in your room or on a roof top deck (which was not open at the time of my stay). Staff was helpful and friendly.
The Hotel atmosphere is best described as exclusive. Rooms are large with modern features such as flat screen TVs and Hi Speed Internet. Bottom line - Very Very Comfortable!
I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.
- Free Wifi
