Doreen and the other staff members took the time to help make us feel like we were VIP guests. Rooms were impeccably clean and complimentary non-alcoholic mini bar drinks were available. Breakfast was lovely and the staff was courteous. I have found my new favorite hotel in Rome!

My second stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend to everyone. Breakfast lovely and include fresh squeezed orange breads cereals coffees meats And some hot things. Rooms spotless and 501 with its terrace superb. Staff in all Areas fantastic and nothing was too much. Also organised our taxi to airport. It is also within walking distance of all sights or metro if you wish to use.

A couple of years ago during a trip to Rome we stayed at this wonderful hotel and had a great experience. This year while vacationing in Italy we had a one night stopover in Rome before flying home so we knew that we had to stay again at this great hotel. The rooms are very clean and the complementary drinks are a great plus. The location is fantastic, only a few blocks from the major train station Termini in Rome and the metro it was perfect for us since we arrived by train. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Doreen at the front desk was great and allowed us to store one of our pieces of luggage at the hotel for a few days while we traveled down to the Amalfi coast before our return to Rome. This was a huge benefit to us to not have to carry the extra suitcase while traveling by train. We highly recommend this hotel when in Rome.

Our family of seven stayed six nights at Hotel Diocleziano. The staff is wonderful and the hotel beautiful. Rooms are nicely appointed, and our kids loved the free wet bar. Rooms are large, considering they are in central Rome. We would recommend the airport shuttle, for a fee, which brings you right to the hotel door. Breakfast is excellent. There are numerous good, reasonably priced restaurants in the area.

A really clean and central hotel in a quiet street. The breakfast is nothing special - typical Italian but with freshly squeezed orange juice - but the rooms and the staff are exceptional. You can order the hotel taxi service to and from the airport at a reasonable price and the Termini station is about 4 minutes walk away. Around the hotel are various reasonable and good eateries for the evening if you do not want to go too far. The hotel is quite small so the staff know you by sight and are always helpful. A gem of a hotel.

Dear guest,

We would like to thank you for your amazing review over our establishment!
It has been our pleasure to have you here with us.

We are only sorry that you had the impression of our breakfast to be solely Italian as it is actually been intended for an International range of clientele.
Every morning we offer, for you to enjoy, a wide assortment of fresh and cooked products that ranges from the American breakfast to a typical Continental type of breakfast.

To give an idea for our future guests, in the American breakfast we display a quite comprehensive choice of goods to meet all tastes. It mainly includes hot bacon, frankfurts, cold cuts, a choice of cheeses and mozzarella bytes, hot mushrooms, eggs, boiled vegetables, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, baked beans, dunats, and our exceptional American coffee. Moreover, what you would consider the continental type of breakfast is comprehensive of freshly baked bread, croissants, cakes and tarts, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, hot and cold milk, Italian espresso coffee, cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Everything together is displayed on the buffet area in the breakfast room, and is either included in the room rate or it can be added for only twelve Euros per day per person.
On request, we can also make available gluten free biscuits to meet specific dietary needs.

Once more we wish to thank you for choosing us and we look forward to see you back very soon.
We hope that our future customers will be as enthusiastic as you have been.

Our very best regards,

Hotel Artemide Guest relations Office

My sister and I traveled to Italy and stayed four nights in Rome. The hotel diocleziano is a small hotel near the termini station in Rome. the room was perfectly clean and very quiet even though it was small compared to American standard rooms. The drinks in the minibar were complimentary! They supplied juices, and water daily in the minibar. I slept very well while there. The breakfast each morning was more than enough. fresh. Fruit, cheeses, meats, scrambled eggs and bacon. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
My only disappointment was with the city of Rome itself. I saw one police officer on the beat my whole time there. I was surprised at the lack of guards, workers at the museums and historic sites. a few times we saw a police car with its sirens going on the roads. My sister was pick pocketed on a city bus. the train stations were filled with people hustling for handouts. I felt unsafe i places and I grew up in New York City. I felt much more at ease in Florence and Venice. Please be careful traveling to Rome. The Vatican, coliseum , forum, are not to be missed. Just be on your guard.
