We spent 7 nights total at the Hotel Diocleziano. Because we booked early and stayed more than 4 nights, we got a great rate. The hotel is spotless, rooms are beautiful, service is impeccable, and the breakfast is quite nice. The staff was so very helpful, and even humored me by letting me use my minimal italian. It is a 7-minute walk from the main train station and metro station, and within walking distance of many important churches. The gym is a bit small, but we hadn't gone to Rome to work out.
Would stay there again.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. stayed 2 nights and staff is very helpful and nice.
5-10 minute walk to the Termini station.
Breakfast is average and rates are a bit high.

Has a small gym and 4 computers for internet access. wireless internet is good.

Bathroom is good but the spa is old and was not super clean.

We checked in for two nights on our way to a cruise. Very friendly staff excellent rooms, bath with spa, mini bar and wifi for free, very well located and it took only 5mins walk from the station to get here. Slow and small lift and limited English TV channels

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in August, the staff were great, very welcoming and helpful.
The room was very clean and tidy, you get free soft drinks left in the fridge on a daily basis, which were can of fanta, coke, 2 bottles of water and fruit juice. The bed was made daily and fresh towels. There was a good choice of breakfast, and the staff were there to help if you need tea, coffee etc..... The breakfast was self service. Plenty of hanging space, hairdryer and safe.
The reception staff in the evening gave us a couple of very good restaurants to go and the food was great, with great service. I couldn't fault this hotel or the staff. If we would go to Rome again I would stay here and recommend.
Regarding our stay in Rome it was a amazing we got tickets from a place called Transvision (just by platform 1 in the station) which were a 3 day travel pass call Omina. This aloud as to get on all public transport (metro, bus, tram) and the Open top Tour bus Cristiana, which is a hop on hop off. You all got free into the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chappel and the Colosseo it also gives discount on other places. This was 85 euros so well worth the money, oh and yu queue jump more then worth the money, if we had to queque we would of sacked it and not gone in.
The train from the airport was 14 euros each single but from Transvision you can get a bus to the airport for 6 euros each same journey time and if you get a return from the airport it was 11 euros.
We did the train to Rome and the bus back. Both great transport.

Stayed for two nights last week and had no complaints. Hotel is within a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Termini train station. Front desk were very helpful and polite. Room was a decent size and very clean. Good variety of breakfast, few cooked items and cereals, but plenty of hams, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruits etc... Hotel isn't central, but this didn't stop us walking everywhere (incl Colloseum and Vatican) in 40 degree heat... Would stay there again if ever back in Rome...
