My husband and I stayed at this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were definitely not disappointed! The staff at the hotel are very helpful and charming. They happily arranged our pick-up from the airport, tours, and restaurant reservations. We were very impressed with the level of service. The rooms are modern, very clean and well appointed. Most importantly, this hotel is in a quiet little cul de sac so a good nights sleep was had every night we were there. The Diocleziano is just a few minutes from the train station and buses so was convenient for getting around. We would definitely return and highly recommend it ! Ciao! to Giordano, Valentino , Tommaso and the rest of the staff at Hotel Diocleziano.

Room Tip: Even street side rooms are quiet.

This small hotel near the Central Termini in Rome was an excellent place to stay. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The hotel is not near the major tourist attractions, but is very close to the Metro lines so getting around the city is not an issue.

Cannot fault this hotel. From arrival at reception we were treated so well and our cases taken to the room. The room we had was the VIP room and it lived up to its name. The terrace was superb and we sat out every evening after our meal. The room and the hotel were spotless. I would recommend this to everyone and it is so central. A 5 min walk to termini and the metro. the metro cost only 1 euro for 75 mins and we were able to go the vattican , trevi fountain etc by this mode of transport. Breakfast was varied and the bread and croissants lovely, i especially loved the coffee made to order. Thank you for our lovely stay and i hope i am back soon.

Room Tip: vip room was a treat for my daughters 18th

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time.

From check in to check out, the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful.

The room was very comfortable, although a little bit on the small size, but, as to be expected in Rome hotels. Had a Tv with plenty of english channels, good shower and plenty of space for clothes, bags, etc.

The breakfast they did was excellent. Maybe not the biggest assortment of food, but certainly as tasty and fresh as any good hotel.

Location was fantastic as it is literally around the corner from Termini, making any trip or excursion were accessible, and getting to/from the airport.

All in all, we had a great time at this hotel. The friendly staff and comfortable rooms gave it a very homely feel. Would certainly stay again and recommend it!

We had a week in Rome with Friends on the way home to Australia. Usually book Europe trips with Travel agent but have been using Expedia the Last 3 years so booked this hotel, the ones through the travel agent for Rome (3 times) were ok but this one was just wonderful, our friends have never been to Rome so I prepared them that the hotel might not be good, what a shock. The service was amazing, from Front Desk, Bell Boys, Cleaners, the rooms were a great size for Rome, the bathroom was big and the Breakfast was wonderful, they even made a latte if you wanted one, freshly squeezed orange juice while you waited, hot and cold buffet. I would not stay anywhere else and have already given the name to a few friends going over. The hotel is also in a very quite street next to the museum and 5 minute walk from the main station

Stayed there with my parents last week. The staff was nice, spoke english. The rooms were clean, however very small, and the amenities inside the room doesn't make it seem like a 4 star hotel. They do give out shampoo, tea, mini bar, tv ect, but I have been in 4 stars hotel that had more to offer. This being said, it is still a good place to stay if you want to be close from the Termini. However, some consider this area as being ghetto. There is a small gym, sauna, and breakfast dining room which was nice.

Really close to the train station & metro, walking distance to many points of interest, and on a quiet side street. Rooms are small, but typical size for Rome. We really enjoyed our stay.
