Me and my Fiance loved everything about this hotel and could not recommenced this hotel any higher. It is AMAZING. We were treated like royalty by the staff and they could not do enough. make sure you at least take a peak to see the roof top Garden at the rear, it was so nice and quiet this is the place I chose to get engaged to Kayleigh "my partner". that just goes to show how special this hotel is. I highly recommend.

Room Tip: Booking.com had some great deals for this hotel.

We booked this hotel as part of a break to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Located in a quiet side street within the area of the Roman Forum, we were struck by how peaceful it was, yet so easy to access the main historical monuments, including the Colosseum, the Palatine and of course, the Forum itself.
The staff could not have been more welcoming. They were very patient in answering our questions, and we were delighted that they had noted our anniversary and offered us a complimentary transfer and upgrade to their sister hotel, The Inn At The Spanish Steps for the final night of our break.
I have reviewed the other hotel separately and will only say here that with the benefit of hindsight, we would have preferred to stay at the Roman Forum. As nice and friendly as the sister hotel is, we did prefer the peace and quiet of our original choice.
Our room was located a few yards away from the actual hotel entrance on the second floor of an annex of apartments. We felt very secure here with our own key to access the main hallway.
We did experience a couple of very minor issues, which were addressed immediately and to our full satisfaction.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely book again when we next visit Rome.
Thank you to all the staff!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for the review and your comments. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us on The Inn at the Roman Forum and the service provided by the team. I will for sure pass on those positive comments to them.

We are sorry if your stay at our sister property did not stand expectation, but that area is appreciated for different reason as it’s busy and lively but everybody has their preferences.

We value customers like yourselves very highly and it is with comments like these that make us strive to be the best.

I look forward to welcoming both of you again to our structure.

Best regards

Hildur

Just returned from a Roam Holiday with the Family including 2 kids. We stayed in the 2 BR apartment just across the main Hotel (literally 3 steps across the alley). The apartment was stunning with a private entrance giving a feeling of being in a luxurious home. The apartments are tastefully decorated and have all the amenities that a family requires i.e. Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Dish washer, oven etc. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Most of all the staff is very friendly and courteous and makes you feel at home. On arriving at the hotel we were very warmly welcomed by Stefano the Manager and the friendly warmth continued throughout the stay by all the staff. They were also very helpful in suggestions for visiting sites in Rome and went out of their way to fulfil our needs. It really felt as if were staying at home. Go for it! I would definitely go again!

You probably cannot find a better located hotel in Rome. It is right at the Roman Forum and within short walking distance from Colosseum and also the main shopping streets.
There are very nice restaurants around it as well.

But above all it is a very nice hotel and the staff is excellent!

I booked the trip to Rome as a surprise for my partners 30th birthday. I don't think I could have chosen a better hotel. We arrived early about 1pm (check in time is 3pm) and we were told our room would be ready in just 30mins and we could sit on the terrace or in the lounge to wait where we got a welcome drink. The room was beautifully decorated, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar etc. and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for the birthday :-). We tended to rush breakfasts due to having tours booked etc. but on the last day we took our time and it was just perfect. The staff remember you, what coffee you like, how you like your eggs and seemed wonderful with the children staying in the hotel. Breakfast is extensive, there wasn't anything missing. We took our first breakfast on terrace but there were a lot of wasps, unavoidable. After that we ate in the lounge. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the colosseum and literally is the forum. The concierge recommended some superb restaurants which we were grateful for as there are a number of tourist traps. We also booked a tour of the Vatican through the hotel which was very good. There are a few improvements that could made such as a full length mirror in the room, as us girls like a good look to make sure our outfit works, and at breakfast there were a few flies buzzing around, I'm being very picky saying this though.
Thank you to all the staff you really make the hotel and it is clear that you work so hard.
Can't wait to visit Rome again and stay there again.
