My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel as a stopover on the way to Positano, and we were really suprised and delighted with how nice this hotel is. When booking, I went soley on the reviews on Trip Advisor as the hotel website is quite poor and does not show the hotel in its best light.

The Inn is very discreet on a narrow road and poor signage on the front. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and a glass of orange juice which was a nice touch. I booked the cheapest room and it was really spacious with huge flat screen tv and modern bathroom. I loved the Etro shampoos and lotions too.

The rooftop garden is a real surprise and very tranquil. The Inn is in a great spot for sightseeing and shopping. The Colossum is only a 5 minute walk away.

The staff were very friendly and the only complaint I would have is that the drinks are quite expensive in the bar. Otherwise a great hotel!

The hotel staff is extremely hospitable, the front desk associates were exceptionally helpful (booked car reservations in another city for us, assisted with train travel, gave great food recommendations and booked reservations). The staff was better than any 5-start concierge we've dealt with. The rooms are exceptionally well decorated with the latest technology/modernization. Breakfast and late evening meal service on the rooftop was an unexpected bonus with excellent food choices and presentation. This hotel by far, was the best hotel we've stayed at in all our travels. Very quaint hotel, nice and safe (quiet) area but yet close to all site-seeing areas.

Would recommend this place to any one going to Rome looking for a superior place to stay.

The Service at this hotel is excellent. From the recepcionist to the bell boy and the waitress, our experience was excellent. We traveled with our two kids and the staff made sure that we got a room large enough for the four of us. The room was brand new and with a very good taste in selecting the furniture. The location coul not be better as it is within walking distance of the Roman Forum and the Colliseum. The breakfast (included) is the best one we had in all of the hotels we stayed in Italy. I strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome with or wothout kids.

Family of four - two rooms, lovely stay.

Family (boys ages 11 and 13) was treated very well at the Inn at the Roman Forum. They accomodated each of our requests with a very pleasant attitude.

The hotel has a great top floor lounge and outdoor garden where breakfast and afternoon drinks and snacks are served. A very nice spot to start your day or for an afternoon drink after a day of touring.

The complimentary breakfast was quite ample with perfect service and a variety of hot and cold choices.

The rooms were modest in size, but very well maintained. Air condition worked very well. Housekeeping was very timely.

The location is very quiet off a small side street near the ancient ruins. When a taxi was needed, four minutes later it was at the hotel entrance.

We have just spent several days in Rome, living at the Inn at the Forum. This small hotel boasts about 12 rooms, and lies at the heart of the ancient section of Rome. We were fortunate enough to occupy the two rooms on the top floor, enjoying a private garden and serene atmosphere. It is truly an oasis within a busy, bustling city. The entire staff was polite, helpful and made our stay a pleasure. I would gladly forego the room service menu of a larger hotel for the peace and tranquility that this small hotel offers its visitors. There is even an ancient ruin within its walls, something that our teenaged daughter found intriguing and fun.
If you can, choose rooms 401 or 402. if you travel as a family, opt for both, giving you the privacy and open air space that is so welcome after a day on the streets touring sights. There are numerous good restaurants within walking distance and a gelateria that was given high marks, even after tasting the gelato in the Piazza Navona. Truly this hotel is a gem and I highly recommend it.

We stayed for 5 nights in May 2008 and had a really lovely experience. Very friendly service with a smile and help with our bags on arrival.

Our room was lovely - great size, decor and ambience, excellent bathroom (not much vanity space), very comfortable bed!!

The hotel is in a great location, great walking distance to all the main attractions. Taxis arrived in minutes or you could flag one just done the street on Via Cavour.

Breakfast and afternoon drinks on the rooftop terrace is delightful with the busy sounds of Rome not to be heard... instead look at the view of Rome and listen to the birds.

Breakfast food is a classic Italian breakfast - nice selection and always fresh.

We will definitely return to this hotel next time we visit Rome.
