Lovely accommodation and helpful reception. Room service was minimal and breakfasts quite poor-same food regurgitated each day-stale cornflakes and warm milk. No fresh fruit when we were there though there had been some stale looking fruit on our first morning.
Would recommend you buy your own!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front overlook a busy road so as long as you're happy to keep the windows closed wi...

I booked this hotel on recommendation from a friend. It was a quiet place inside the city limits to get a good night's sleep. It's location is a one minute walk to a metro stop. The metro trip from Termini Station was 8 minutes, which was very easy. It was a little tough to find the place because the sign is merely a gold placard outside the building. Press the buzzer to be let in and walk to the second floor. The rooms were very sound proof and large. The staff helped us acquire a taxi for our 4am departure. The included breakfast consisted of meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices and great coffee. My only complaint was some unsightly stains on the comforter. Other than that, the room and bathroom were very clean. We received clean towels and sheets after three nights. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a convenient but quiet place to stay in Rome.

We stayed here in February and couldn't have asked for a more helpful staff. My bag was both delayed and then items were missing upon arrival. Staff helped draft a letter for the italian police to read in italian and called a solicitor in to give me advice free of charge. They made helpful recommendations for the rest of the stay to ensure we enjoyed Rome despite the luggage. My only pet peeve was a smell from the toilet. Can't be helped in city center Italian plumbing even 5 star luxury locations have the same problem so nothing more could be done.

I gave this hotel a poor review at the beginning of September but my review never posted.

I arrived at the hotel on August 30, was asked to pay immediately, paid, and was promptly informed that we were "in partenza," i.e. departing for the hotel. I said what??? "Yes, you are staying in another hotel." We walked a few blocks to an unaffiliated hotel I had not booked, but it seemed that I had no choice--they had overbooked.

Ridiculous, do not book this hotel, and Venere should take them off the site.

Good location with affordable and unique shopping for men and women. Interesting rooms, although antique like. TINY shower in our room but the water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. The air conditioning is a problem. We were alright as there the first of October but would have been horrible in the summer. Max at the front desk spoke 5 languages. He was very friendly and helpful. We were shocked when he was not on duty the front desk was horrible. No English and at times even rude. I think one of the workers lives in the single room facility in the back. Cafe's were terrific but do not plan on eating the othere food for breakfast. Over all not a bad experience for the value. Just not a good one either.

This hotel has the friendliest (and very knowledgeable) reception staff and felt quite welcomed during our arrival. We managed to check it earlier too. The receptionist took the time to draw out a map and offer tips on moving about etc (which was quite a refreshing change considering our stay at most european hotels). The rooms were slightly disspointing (some power points not working, small TV, small shower cubicle, ageing facilities,) and towels were never changed. The breakfast affair was a very limited selection and a bit crammed into a small room which was also a bar that never opened after breakfast times. The hotel staff were happy to buzz us in and out at whatever time of the day. The location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance to the vatican city (5 mins) and metro station (1 min). The wi-fi signal was not poor which is weird considering the hotel is small and laid out on one floor. Overall, the hotel still needs some bit of work!

In twenty years of visiting Rome this is the worst hotel I have had the misfortune to stay in.
The hotel is central enough and the secure entrance is secure during the day when asked who you are but at night you are just buzzed in. The staff on at night appear to find guests an inconvenience and seem less than happy if you come back after 11pm. The main receptionists are very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast is ok and coffee is handed over with barely a smile, you just want to get out as quickly as possible as the atmosphere is so poor.
The room was ok in size but a bit faded and the lighting very poor, low wattage or not working. The shower could flood the bathroom if the spray hit the door of the cubicle. Towels were never replaced, even if thrown in the bidet they were just hung up to dry. On arrival used soap and shower gel packet in shower so obviously not cleaned beforehand, bottom of shower doors badly needing a good clean.
Purchasing Internet access was a waste of time as the signal was so poor, I would have been better going across to McDonalds.
The safe did not work and the air conditioning was ineffective.
The location was about all that could be described as good. A big disappointment after reading other reviews. Never again, I love Rome and I am glad it was not a first visit.

Room Tip: Do not go to this hotel
