“Exquisite but overlooked”
Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

With the abundance of attractions in the historic center, most visitors to Rome would never think to look just beyond. For this reason, the vast expanse of rolling hills, meadows, lakes, gardens and towing pine trees is often overlooked by tourists. But this exquisite park is actually one of the most beautiful places in Rome. The perfect place to immerse yourself in green far away from the traffic and noise of the city for a run, leisurely walk or picnic.

“Enjoy this great park”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

It's great that such place is open to public. You can jog there, walk with your dog or admire beauties of nature and buildings.

“Nice walks”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

One of the biggest parks in Rome, not far from the Trastevere/Gianicolo aerea and practically on the Aurelia Antica.
Great walks, perfect for jogging. Could be kept better, but this is a Roman problem eveywhere. Great early in the morning or before sunset.

“Great park!”
Reviewed July 4, 2012 via mobile

Very nice place to spend an afternoon with friends or family, even an entire day because it's huge. There are so many sights and hidden places to explore, and it's perfect for long walks or bike riding, jogging, having a picnic, reading a book, take a dog out......and you will never have the feeling that it's crowded with people like Villa Borghese. It's perfectly safe and mostly visited by families with children.

“Extremely peaceful”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

Possibly the only place in Rome that actually has no cars or mopeds.
