We stayed at Camping Roma as it offered us convenience for a bus tour we had booked whilst in Rome. It is budget accommodation and you get what you pay for. There didn't seem to be consistency between the bungalows as the one we had on our first night and the one we had a few days later differed greatly.
Otherwise it was satisfactory and comfortable, the air con was a fantastic plus! What the campsite offers makes it a more enjoyable experience. Location to the bus stop was very convenient and they also offered shuttles to the Vatican and to the local airports. Easy access to an on site super market and a laundromat was very handy as well.
The restaurant on site served great food also with friendly wait staff. The staff at the info point weren't quite as friendly and check in time often took FOREVER so keep that in mind if you're in a rush to go somewhere.More
