Camping is quite big,at the entrance of the city, you can get near Vatican by public transport in about 10-15 minutes.Room was big and clean enough. We had a place to park our car.Internet connection was not satisfying in the room.Staff was quite friendly.

For about 5-7 euros you can get a great Breakfast, recommend to eat there.

For staying in Rome it's a really great option !

Me and my fiancé stayed in a 3 person tent. It was roomy enough for the two of us and had power and lighting. The power outlets are new, so don't worry about not having any place to charge your devices. All tents now have them.

The wifi was wacky and often would disconnect for no reason. Thankfully it's free, so you can't really complain. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and the market was well stocked with everything from alcohol to rain jackets. The pool is refreshing and the shuttle bus service to the Vatican is well worth the 3 euros.

The reason why this campsite didn't get a 5 star review is because of the lack of security patrols done at night. Out of the 5 nights we slept here 1 was quiet. People are always drinking and being obnoxiously loud at night. We asked the staff to send someone and I don't believe the guard ever came.

I would come back but I would bring a very good pair of ear plugs.

We travel with my friend in Rome for one day and we find this like a the cheapest way for one night sleep. The rooms it was ok clean .The position off the camping is little far from the center Rome you need taxi or buses .

We were a family group and this property was provided on our tour. Most of our tour mates were somewhat disappointed with it. The positives - large coin-operated laundry, tasty affordable Italian restaurant on site, big supermarket across the road. The negatives - we were in a "hut" - it was very cramped, you struggle to find a floor spot to open the suitcase, the faux wood laminate floor was peeling back (yuk!), the blankets were furry with age, towels are like large tea towels but work ok, the low bunk bed over the two singles prevents you sitting in bed comfortably to read etc. I was also upset with the plastic plates and cutlery used at breakfast (the environment!). All in all, I can see it being fun for some young travelers who enjoy late night partying, but this is pretty basic and even discerning budget travelers will probably want better. It is also important to note that the camp is quite far from central Rome - requiring a somewhat arduous public transport trip in ie. bus/train or long bus trip to the sights.

Had absolutely no problems whilst staying at Camping Village Roma. We stayed in a bungalow with our own bathroom- the shower was spacious and the entire bathroom was spotless. The bedroom area was very clean too, extra blankets were provided and air conditioning was available. The facilities were brilliant- lovely clean pool that wasn't too busy and didn't insist on playing loud music like some other campsites. The restaurant was great with a relatively small range of dishes but everything was very reasonably priced, it's easy to eat for under 10 euros each. Excellent on-site supermarket which stocked everything from souvenirs to washing powder, had everything you could possibly need. Staff were friendly and seemed pleased to talk to you, most of them spoke very good English. It doesn't take long to get into Rome, but be careful of the directions the campsite send by email- they're not very clear and as we were walking from Aurelia station for about an hour, it's clear that the campsite staff aren't entirely sure about what 400m is! Only stayed one night because we heard Camping Fabulous on the outskirts of Rome was better- really wished we'd stayed longer!

I stayed here as part of a tour and in fairness, I am not 21 anymore but man, talk about the worst two night sleep I got on the entire tour!

The cabins are small and there are two rooms joined together per separate cabin. Which is fine if you know the people in the other room but if you don't, then expect to get quite acquainted with any noise they make. This also applies to the cabin behind you, which is so close and non insulated that you will hear them talking in there as you lie in bed.

Our cabin had a set of single bunks and a single bed which had shelves built over it at head sleeping height. My travel companion had to put pillows over it so not to get herself a black eye during the night.

We were surrounded by partying both nights...ALL NIGHT. The second night it was 05:30 before things went quiet - by things I mean the screeching with delight of alcohol intoxication that was the theme of both nights. The first night was more tolerable and easier to sleep with.

Good things - the food wasn't too bad, the laundry was huge so no problems getting a washing machine and dryer which was well needed at this part of the tour.

Would I stay here again - No (but in fairness I disliked Rome intensely and wouldn't return ever) but if I was 21 and wanting a good time then it would be my first, second and third choice.

My friend and I booked 3nights to stay at Camp Roma. My friend got the news that her grandfather was passing away the day of arriving at the camp. We wanted to cancel her accommodation for the last 2nights as she had to fly back home immediately the next day. The lady at reception told us we could not cancel because we are not giving 24hrs notice but we are as she was still wanting to stay the first night still. The reception lady did not understand what we were saying and kept repeating the only words she knew. She was rude and her breathe stank!!!
