I stayed here last August in a cabin (as part of a tour) and then upgraded to a two bedroom cabin with friends after the tour. Both rooms were good and I had no complaints. The facilities were also good and there is a big supermarket across the road. The only thing is that the location is out of town and you have to take a bus and subway to get into town. This is not a huge problem but did discourage us from spending much time exploring Rome. The wifi did not work well. Rome is very expensive though so it was a good price for budget travellers. I was happy to stay here but next time would probably look at somewhere in town.

This site is nice for families and youth on vacation. It is cheap but still comfortable. The beds were I'm good shape and the area was clean and orderly. The staff were helpful and there is a grocery shop, bar, restaurant, pool and washing facilities on site. They offer cheap bus fare into the city and there are buses that take you straight to the Vatican and anywhere else in rome that pick up right outside and a train station just down the road (Roma Aurelia). It is not centrally located but it is quiet, no police cars going by with their sirens blaring at all hours and it sits up on a hill so the only sounds are your neighbors.

Went there late March this year, when it was still quite rainy and cold in Rome. I had booked a tent with them, based on reviews and photos, but all this was completely different from reality...Unless you are a teenager travelling to ROme with a bunch of your friends in summer when it's hot, NEVER EVER book their tents or you'll be quite disappointed, as we were.
1. The tents do not have anything but 3 beds. No plugs to charge your electronics, not hangers, no chairs or tables. Nothing else.
2. It's quite shabby and when it's cold outside, you simply can't sleep in them - they do not have any sort of heating.
3. They are not sufficiently hermetised and all sorts of bugs can stroll in.
When we went, it rained a lot that day and in the evening there were leechers all over the walls. It was disgusting and we immediately requested a bungalow, which we were lucky to get and staff were very helpful in doing this.
Bungalows are a different story. There is everything you need for a decent stay: plugs, shower with proper hot water, toilets, a desk, shelves and lockable wardrobes etc. They are in a more convenient part of the camp and given most of your neighbours will be families it'll be relativley quiet too. You will also have a table outside to sit.

Transport: Bus stop is 10 metres from main gates, which will take you to a tube station (westerns-most station on line A). Bus ride approximately 20 minutes. On public holiday bus runs every 1.5-2 hours so it gets almost impossible to get on it and the scene of people trying to get on it looks more like a 3-world country than a western European capital. On of this rides, we even witnessed a tourist's (from China it seemed) wallet being pick-pocketed as he tried to get off and he was yelling and begging to give it back..No chance. In these days, i hated using that bus.

Camp also run shuttle buses to and from Vatican but we never used it.
Metro run very smoothly during our stay.

I would have given this place max 2 stars, but only because we met some really nice staff there (Vitaliy, Tatyana are best) - i'm giving 3 stars.

If we go there when it's sunny and warm and only if we get a bungalow - i'd probably go there again. But otherwise, I'd recommend finding somewhere closer to town and with better conditions (esp if you're travelling as a couple).

Room Tip: do NOT book a tent - you'll most probably end up asking them to given you a bungalow when you ge...

This place is great. Although not centerally located is it right next to a bus stop that can take you to the subway station where you can go anywhere. The check in process was a breeze and the attendants were outstanding. Great ideas on what to do and where to go. How to get there what buses to take and what subway train to take. Rooms were great for the area. Bed was comfortable. One thing they do not provide is towels, so please pack one or ask for one upon check in. They do have a small convienence store, laundry room, restaurant and bar on site. Did not utilize the laundry room but I did look in it and it looked very clean and very modern with all new machines. Overall a place I would return to if I was to ever return to Rome.

Room Tip: I don't think they have bad rooms. It would depend on the time you go and the crowd that is ther...

this is one of the most relaxed places i have ever been to. they have tables with banches in front of every trailer and you can stay and chat till late in the night, the bar is awesome, the rooms are small and comfy, the suprmarket across the road has a small selection of beer though (like it's their fault :)) ). even if it looks far from city center you can do less then 30' to termini (main station of the city) and you can get preety much anywhere in the city fast. the staff is very receptive and eager to help (i had a leack in the roof and my bungalow was changed instantly and without any words added)

And thats my only complaint about an otherwise awesome site.
We got a bit lost trying to find our way back to the campground on our day in town (we came out the wrong exit from the metro), but other than that our stay was lovely.
The bar was awesome, the rooms were comfortable and we have absolutely no complaints.
