The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English (though my lack of Italian skills wasn't much of a problem anywhere in Rome). The location near the Termini station was convenient (the Roman public transport system, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired). The room was clean and comfortable, though we were there at the end of December and I found the water in the shower never got hot enough for my liking. I doubt this would be a problem in the summer. If the breakfast is included in your room rate, do pop in for a cappucino, but don't waste any tummy space here - there are so many other wonderful things to eat in Rome!

This is exactly what I hope for from a three star European hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable and large with crisp, fresh linen. The staff are very friendly, helpful and approachable. It is great value.
The continental breakfast is fine. Nothing to set the world on fire but it does the job. Personally I'd like the option of a cooked breakfast but they don't have the facilities here.
My only real (slight) criticism would be that the bathrooms need updating. I cannot fault the cleanliness but it was like showering in an elderly relatives bathroom. The decor is dated and the hot water took ages to come through (minutes, not seconds) Our shower head was broken which we mentioned at reception and within the day it was fixed and sorted, I've had much less speedy service in much more expensive hotels. It would also be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room and some English speaking tv channels. Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely. Great value for a great, quiet location. I'd certainly recommend it.

Great location near Termini station! We booked a room for 3 and it was quite big. The staff was pleasant and helpful (we wanted warm water, so they have us an electric kettle for our room free of charge). The breakfast was sumptuous, complete with fresh fruits.

Overall, a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend!

This was our second stay at this hotel and, although we we given a slightly smaller room than the first time, we enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with TV, mini-bar and safe. Hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and speak English. A selection of food is on offer for breakfast, which is reasonably diverse for a couple-of-days stay. This hotel offer very good location as far as the Metro is concerned (5 minutes walking distance from the Termini station and the Piazza della Repubblica). Furthermore, it is around 25 minutes walking distance from both the Piazza di Spagna and the Fontana di Trevi. As a returning customer I would recommend this hotel for a Roman holiday. :-)

Great hotel, comfortable beds, dark room (I can’t sleep if there’s any light at all), amazing breakfast buffet, free printer use (good for printing tickets and boarding passes), very friendly staff, and 10 min walk from Stazione Termini.

we stayed at Camelia hotel for 5 nights and We had a great stay.exellent location just a few steps from the main station of Rome(Termini). Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The receptionists provided us with all the necessary information and were always happy to serve and give us further information when needed. All the staff member at breakfast was very kind and the cleaning ladies as well. We will definitely return next time we will visit Rome
