I stayed here with my family and some friends (group of 11 people). It is a very convenient place to stay and not so expensive. It is good value for your money and the owner serves simple but nice breakfast every morning. Coffee, cappuccino or any other drinks from the coffee machine are available free of charge during all your stay. WIFI available too. It is very close to Vatican Museums and subway station/bus terminal.

The only slight disadvantage is that it is a bit tricky place to be found. Once you find it, you are completely fine.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome at A Casa di Serena. The room was great and Franco was very helpful and kind. We were five people and we had a lot of room to spare. The breakfast was also delicious and abundant which gave us a great start to our day. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed at Casa di Serena for 3 nights in July 2013, and can really recommend this nice B&B. The service was top and the appartment is very close to he Vatican state, only a couple of hundred meeters away. It is also close to the Cipro Metrostation which is very convenient when travelling in Rome.We stayed in a clean and big family room with television and aircondition. The family room is big enough for a family of 5 + infant.

This place was perfect for our 3 day stay in Rome. Franco was extremely kind and helpful in showing us how to navigate around the city. He served fresh croissants, sandwiches, orange juice and coffee every morning. Our room was separate from the bathroom, but it was still private and came with a key. The B&B is conveniently located next to Vatican City. We were able to walk from the apartment to the Coliseum and see all the sights along the way.

Although we were expecting to stay in another apartment through our booking, we were delighted with the change of venue after meeting Franco, who was a fantastic host. The neighborhood was not as appealing as some areas of Rome that I've visited, but the apartment was good value for money and well located. A Casa di Serena was a stone's throw to the Metro station, easy walking distance to Vatican City and surrounded by a good range of restaurants, cafes and the usual amenities (supermarket, internet cafe etc). There were all the usual services you would expect in a B&B these days - wifi, aircon, tv, free coffee/tea making, bar fridge in the room, good breakfast, and free maps. There was a nice selection of books and travel guides to borrow and Franco was incredibly helpful with tips for local eateries and things to visit. We often headed out in the morning, returned early afternoon for siesta and to escape the summer heat, and headed out again in the early evening. Meeting other guests at breakfast was really pleasant but not overwhelming either - a nice balance. We met a wide range of travelers - singles, couples and even a large family. So this venue caters well for a great range of customers. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
