When I go to Rome I make a point to stay here at Fabio's guest house. My wife and I had a huge group that we took to Rome for a week, we stayed at Domus Australia w/ the group and then went to Federici for some rest and relaxation. It was perfect. It was SO comfortable that we had a hard time getting out of bed! Fabio and his staff could not have been nicer. He was there to see us off on Christmas day! Talking to Fabio is awesome. He's such a great guy, and I hope he knows that he has friends in the USA! I can't put into a small review the family feel you get from staying here. The location is in the upscale Prati neighborhood, and can't be beat. Roma and Lazio play soccer just up the road from here. Take bus #32 and you're there. Of course, you are a few minutes away from St. Peters and the metro is at your front door. Thanks so much once again Fabio!!

We chose this B&B for the proximity to the metro. It is literally at your front door making all of rome accessible. The B&B is located in a residential structure so you are staying where the locals live. The Vatican is a 5-10 minute walk. Fabio was extremely helpful with dining and sight seeking suggestions as well as being very freindly and enjoyable to talk to. The breakfast consist of cereal, bread, cheese, yogurt, croissants, juice, coffee, tea. The room was spacious and comfortable. If you forget your european plug converters, there is an electronic store right next door that sells a universal converter for around $9. No english TV channels but why watch TV when you are in Rome. There is an elevator but you do have to go up about 5 steps to get to it. For the price, location and overall experience, I don't think we could have stayed in a better place in all of Rome.

not strictly speaking a hotel but a comfortable, clean place with good breakfasts and very convenient for public transport. Helpful owner. Good value in Rome which can be an expensive city to visit.
A small point but I suggested to the owner that the otherwise excellent bathroom.should have a soap tray within the shower.

Federici Guest House is a pearl in the heart of Rome.
The location is great, just less then 5 minutes walk from Vatican museum and all the major attractions in Rome. It is a quite and safe neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants , bars and great shopping streets for all necessary.
The room was spacious very clean and airy and a nice view in the caracteristic courtyard, free wifi, free Air conditioning …Well, very good value for money, especially in a city as Rome....
