I will admit that we had a little trouble finding the B&B. It is quite out of the center of Rome and not many people knew the street we were looking for, including the bus driver whose bus we were on...:~(
But having said that, for the price, it was a fine place. Clearly, for us, when we left it was for the whole day and when we came back, it was to sleep. It is too far out to come to for a quick shower and change of outfit which would have been nice.
Our host was the father at first, as Ilyana(sp?) was out of town the first couple of days we were there. And what a dear he was! So attentive and helpful. He spoke English and graciously endured our Italian.
There was a friend of the host there who explained the public transportation system, gave us a great map and was also very helpful.
When she finally came, we talked for an hour about this that and the other! She was really kind.
The room was large and so was the bathroom. They were clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about at all.
Breakfast consisted of tea, coffee, biscottis (plain & almond), toast, jam, butter, orange juice, and/or pineapple juice. And they were generous with it all.
While we were there, there were no other guests except for one night.
All in all, although we appreciated...I will admit that we had a little trouble finding the B&B. It is quite out of the center of Rome and not many people knew the street we were looking for, including the bus driver whose bus we were on...:~(

All in all, although we appreciated our hosts , the room and breakfast, we'll opt to pay a little more so that we can be a little closer to the city.
