This is a nice and small restaurant. The man working the counter was kind and patient. The panini that I ordered was called The Director. The sandwich itself was amazing and all the ingredients were extremely fresh and tasted like it too. I highly recommend this place for travellers who are near the Vatican if they want cheap and amazing food.

We visited the place after our visit to the Vatican after some of the locals' recommendations. The paninis we tasted were truly amazing!

...have an urge for pork before or after the Vatican, stop here! I'll castellano is an excellent sandwich, made with succulent pork and spinach. It will fill you up, indeed.

If you're hungry for some quick and good Italian street food near the Vatican, this is a perfect place visit. The owner was really nice and welcoming and we had a couple of good panini's and drinks for a good price. He even insisted I take the water bottle I had for free, even though I insisted I pay for it. I guess he's more persuasive than me:)
