The B&B shows a very good "price for value" relation. Within walking distance to Termini and to most of the sites to visit. Very helpfull receptionist providing Good recommendations.

Small and nice restaurant just around the corner. Exzellent fish and good and cheep house wine.

Room Tip: Try to get a room to the backyard, this gives quiet nights ;-)

For travelers on a tight budget, the balance of quality, location, and price is probably better at Welcome House than anywhere else in Rome. Nice clean rooms with 10+ foot ceiling. Friendly receptionist gave us a tour map and showed us the how to get around the city. On the major street of Via Nazionale, within walking distance of the major sites, including the Colosseum. Not very well sound-proofed, so light sleepers may be bothered by outside traffic.

A good place to stay for 2-3 nights. Very Friendly Staff, good location. The rooms have nice old forniture. The bathroom is ok , but need renovation, some things are quite old... but its ok for 2-3 nights. Quite noisy at night.

Very nice clean B&B, spacious room and bathroom, situated in a very central area. It can be reached on foot from the Termini train station, and you can walk to most of the important monument and archaelogical sites. The fashion shops are just downstairs. Just a little problem: the traffic noise, even if on the 4th floor the noise was quite disturbing.

Welcome house is excellent. Convenient for Bus and Metro routes and not far from termini station, staff speak good english and very helpfull with tips and information to get best out of your visit. comfortable rooms. One tip to help you find it it is 200m from Repubblica end of via nazionale and in the same entrance as the miami hotel which has a much more obvious sign.

For paying close to 200 per night, I was expecting more from this B&B. They aren't really a true B&B in the traditional sense. For breakfast someone leaves a basket of hard bread hanging on your door handle. You help yourself to juice, coffee, and cereal that's spread out on a counter in the lobby area outside of your room. That's breakfast. The rooms all face the main street and the windows don't block out noise so we had several sleepless nights. It is quite a long distance to walk to Termini station, and considering that there are plenty of cheaper, more economical alternatives to Welcome House closer to the station, I would consider staying elsewhere.

This is not a hotel but a simple B & B. Its is in a building with The Miami Hotel and quite alot of other office types. Stayed here for 4 nights in September. Found it ok from Termini (the main train station) about a 10-15 min walk. Staff friendly and helpful, Denis, Suzanna and another woman on reception. But room was awful, wallpaper and border where peeling off, for some reason there was and old stainless steel sink (that looked like it had never been cleaned) with kitchen cupboards above and below it, with a fridge under the sink!! on further inspection there used to be a 2 ring hob, if you took the basic worktop off!! this kitchen area was covered with a curtain. Have no idea of its purpose. En-suite shower was disgusting, black mould was all around the shower, it was a tight squeeze in there for me and i am only 5ft and small frame. Breakfast was a croissant and 2 stale rolls left in a bag by your door in the morning and cornflakes, orange juice and tea and coffee making facilities down the hall in a lobby. It's only good point was it's location, great for all the sights, we walked to all the main hotspots and more. Rome is beautiful and would love to go back, but eating out is very very expensive and beware some restaurants add on a 12% tax for some reason.
