Stayed for three nights. Staff really helpful, location good only a short walk to trastevere or a regular tram ride. Big room for rome, didn't find the time to fit the spa in. Breakfast decent, a good range of stuff and they cook eggs to order. Ask for coffee rather than using the machine as it's much better. Room itself was clean and spacious if in need of a lick of paint. Sky tv didn't work but never bothered us as we weren't in Rome to watch tv. Shower was on the tiny side as it had a turkish steam thing with a seat. If the took out the bidet and this seat they could extend the cubicle and have a normal size shower. We would definitely stay again though.

We are a little bit surprised about the inconvenience with the TV: actually it always works; maybe if we would have known it immediately, we could adjust it. Concerning the showers, it has already started their progressive replacement. We are happy to know that you are going to come back here: please let us know when!
Waiting to welcome you back we send you our kindest regards.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights unexpectedly. I had an accident in the Amalfi coat and had to be in a walking boot. Our apartment I. trestevere has 60 stairs to get to our room so we stayed at the hotel for two nights I can't say enough about the staff. We checked in very late and staff on site was able to help sit me in a rolling chair from the taxi (as I could not walk) into our room. They offered to bring up breakfast and phone chargers. The staff helped us find a pharmacy to purchase the boot and medicine for pain. If we had a need to stay in a hotel we would definitely consider this one. They have an excellent breakfast, spa and roof top terrace, The bus and tram stop outside which to all the sites for little euro.
Thank you for making out hectic stay comfortable m

This was an ideal place to stay with family. Easy to get to by train and then 2 stops on tram from airport. Easy tram ride into centre of city just over river to see sights but also lots of lovely restaurants a couple of stops down on the tram, and about 10 minute walk. Hotel itself clean, comfortable and friendly. Helpful staff-happy to book things for you and reserve restaurants by phoning them for you. Great view from terrace bar at the top. Lovely breakfasts!

Room Tip: We stayed on 6th floor in a superior room which was quiet and had great view from balcony!

Me and my fiancée booked the Spa & Massages Package for 3 nights and had a amazing time...

The private spa session was amazing and a must for couples, the small touches just made it perfect. The massages were 'sooo good', in my fiancées owns words, just what was needed after spending the day walking around wonderful Rome.
Hotel staff are helpful and friendly providing the transport links to various attractions on our arrival. Location wise its ideal with a short tram ride taking you to the city centre where you can find all the sights.
The hotel room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, in room entertainment was very good, with sky channels in local Italian as well as English.
The breakfast was nice with fresh fruit available as well as a orange juice machine allowing you to make your own fresh juice.

Overall Trilussa palace hotel is a hidden Gem in Rome and a highly recommended hotel.

Thank you to all the hotel staff!!

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days, although we didn't go there for the spa facilities it was still very nice. The 3rd floor room was well presented with a view of the front street and part of the city. The location is out of the main city so you need to take a 10 minute bus/tram ride or a half hour walk to get to the centre. The Trastevere area has plenty of good bars/restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The roof terrace was our favourite spot for evening cocktails with great views of the city at sunset. The wifi is too weak to use from the roof but ok in our room. There was a thunderstorm one evening which was quite spectacular from the roof. The breakfast was a reasonable buffet but limited in choice for a hotel of this rating.

We have travelled many countries and stayed in many hotels, but the staff of the Trilussa Palace is the best by far - super friendly and extremely helpful. Their knowledge of tourist destinations is superb. The hotel is excellently located and although our room was small, it was very clean and had everything we needed. If we ever visit Rome again, this will be the hotel we return to. Thank you to Max and the rest of the staff.

We have just returned from a long weekend pre Christmas and Birthday break, and could not have been much happier with the Trilussa as a place to stay. On arrival the receptionist could not have been more friendly and helpful in showing us some top sights on the map, this continued with all members of staff. On the Saturday at breakfast the waiter and waitress brought over cakes and wished me happy birthday, (my wife tried to take the credit). Location is great, we like walking and never stepped on public transport, however the tram stop in 50 metres up the road and the Traverse railway station is a 10 minute stroll, we caught the FR2 from the airport, EU8 each, bargain. A 15 minute walk once you can navigate the backstreets take you to some excellent restaurants and bars, none tried to rip us off. Value for money I cant complain, WiFi was quick as well, useful for looking up information on the move. The only reason I have not given it a 5 rating is I would have liked the spa to be slightly cheaper, we did originally think it was, although the hotel website clearly tells you it is an additional cost. That aside I don't think we would have had time. Breakfast was good, eggs cooked to order plenty of buffet to choose from, gutted we only discovered the roof garden on the last evening, thought it was closed in winter it is not. I would recommend this hotel without question.

Room Tip: Ask for Balcony high up to get views.
