My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our honey moon. All was perfect. The staff was so nice. The hotel is very well located, near the touristic monuments (Piazza Navona, the Colleseum, Campo de "Fiori"...). I recommand this hotel for everyone who wants to go to Roma.
Just a word : Amazing
Thanks for these 3 days !!!

This charming little hotel tucked in the heart of the city's centre is most noteworthy for its location. Easy access to all the main tourist spots and eateries was its main attraction. Everything on our to-do list was a few minutes' walk away and that is why we were able to cover most of Rome in a day a half.

The owners have recently started a new hotel on the first floor of the same building as the hotel who's photographs are displayed here. So we were in for a big surprise when we saw our room which was very different from what we'd expected. The rooms were very small, with hardly any space to move around or put our luggage in, the decor very modern and minimalist- quite a contrast to the the entry/courtyard of the hotel outside, which was charming with its stone floors, flowers and Roman ambience.

The staff were quite friendly and answered all our touristy questions over and over again. The lady at the reception was very friendly and spoke English very well, which is quite a blessing. The breakfast was served in a little sitting area near the reception, owing to the cramped spaces of the building, and there was a happy hour in the evening where tea/coffee/wines and snacks were served which is an added attraction if anyone chooses to come back to the hotel for a siesta.

I would recommend this place for its location and no-fuss attitude.

Dear Guest,
thank you very much for staying with us for your holiday in Rome!
We really appreciate the time you spent leaving a so positive review on our Residenza!
I wish to thank you for your kind feedback, with all the gratitude for your kind words. I will forward this review to all the Argentina Residenza Staff which daily try to make a customer service experience so delightfully to give the opportunity to all our guests to have a great story to tell once they come back home.
The room you have been assigned to was a standard sized room, with original affreschi on the ceiling and the window facing the internal yard. Anyway, we accept your suggestion!
We put our best in welcoming our guests, just letting them feel at home... in the centre of Rome!
Looking forward to welcome you again,

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in June....and what a find.

It's in a great location and many of Rome's attractions are all within walking distance- the Pantheon, the Colleseum, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Campo de'Fiori and Trastevere (where there's lots of good bars and restaurants) are all nearby.

The actual place is tucked off the main square and was a touch hard to find first off. Fortunately this meant that its also away from all the noise- we couldn't hear a thing once we were inside which is quite a feat for central Rome! The room was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We'd definitely consider coming back to Residenza Argentina if we were to come back to Rome (which I hope we do!).

When we first arrived at Residenza Argentina we were a little confused as the hotel is located behind great big gates and through a courtyard. This turned out to be a blessing as the noisy trafic was nowhere to be heard. The hotel is conveniently located 10-15 minutes walk from the Colosseum and near to all other main attractions. The room was newly renovated, clean, modern with a great view out to the very quiet courtyard. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, we arrived mid morning, so much too early to check in and they happily looked after our bags for us and they were neatly in the room when we arrived back a few hours later. breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, much better than later hotels in Florence & Siena on our tour. I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody who wants a comfortable, modern & quiet hotel near to the highlights of Rome.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel which is well located in Rome. Each room was unique and perfectly detailed, clean, and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony and a lovely fresco on the wall. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

My family just got back from a trip that included a delightful stay at Residenza Argentina and would highly recommend this hotel. It is not easy to find but it is located in an outstanding area of town. The hotel is located directly across from Largo Di Argentina but it is tucked in the back behind to courtyards. There are no big signs out front or even back in the courtyards. My first impression was based on its hard to find location. What I thought was going to be a negative in the review turned out to be a highlight and a big positive. Once you find the hotel and enter their lobby up the steps, you will find a modern designed and newly renovated hotel. Once you are in the beautiful, clean, modernly decorated and appointed room you will notice that due to the location of the hotel you have a quiet room in a typically very loud area of the city. If you are familiar with Largo Di Argentina you know it is both a major bus stop for multiple routes and also a major stop for the street car and thus it is always a loud and busy area. Because your room is tucked into the center of a city block the noise is pretty much blocked out. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Campo Di Fori and Castle Saint Angelo so you can easily reach just about every major tourist destination.
The hotel has a very nice yet simple continental breakfast which included items such as boiled eggs, cereals, lunch meats and cheeses, fruits, assorted breads and juices. The hotel staff will gladly make espressos, lattes and cappuccinos if you want good coffee instead of boring American style drip coffee that they also offer.
Unlike some hotels in Rome, the WiFi that they offer was actually pretty good. It was easy to connect to once they gave you the password and the speed was surprisingly good.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly. They have great English and were always ready to assist with any request my family made. They were even able to book our reservations at some restaurants we requested by email before we even got to the hotel so our dinner reservation was already set for our arrival.
The room was very modern. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub in our room was excellent. The bathroom was a tad on the small size but the toilet, bidet, sink and shower were all modern and new and of extremely good quality.
One small criticism would be that the elevator for the hotel is incredibly small so you will have to carry your bags up the flight of stairs to the lobby.
Do not let the small size of this hotel put you off. I would recommend it highly both for its outstanding location but for its excellent service and facilities.

Room Tip: 101 has a great hot tub in the room!

This hotel is not easy to find. It took three attempts by our taxi driver, despite us telling him it was next to The Theater! The hotel is well hidden behind big doors and is located on the 1st and 3rd floor. Unfortunately, the lift does not stop at the 1st floor so cases had to be carried to reception on 1st floor. It turned out our room was on the third floor with a separate reception.

Our room was delightful, although felt the spa bath in the bedroom could have been left out to give more space and room comfort. Only thing I would complain about is the rock hard bed .... Second only to our Shanghai 'brick'.

One final niggle we have is on our final day checkout was 10 am, not so bad as we had a few more sites to see. At about 3 pm we decided to return to rest our feet before our airport taxi was due. We were ushered to the 1st floor reception where we sat on plastic breakfast chairs to wait. Would suggest a comfortable sitting area for customers who are flying out of Rome later in the day.

Dear Guest,

thank you very much for staying with us! We are a brand-new reality in Rome and we try to give our best everyday, with every single guest.
When it is possible, we prefer welcoming our guest at the first floor, where you will find a receptionist 24/7. Soon we will have a lift for the first floor, but at the moment we offer the porter service for free to the third floor, from which there is a direct lift from the ground floor.
Our check-out time is 10:30, but all our guest can leave their luggages in the deposit and come back later, as you did.
Finally, please spend two minutes to visit the website ofthe Precious Italian Design Brand called "Kartell": you will recognize our "plastic breakfast chairs". We care about the final oufit of our common spaces, choosing always the best that the Italian Design can offer, but also we care about our guest's comfort: this is why we also have a big white sofa in the corridor next to the hall.
We suggest you to visit our website for the best offers and promotions for your next stay in Rome!
Best regards
