My husband and I stayed at the Nicolas Inn for 4 nights this past May. The Inn is ideally located in near many of ancient Rome's sites as well as a metro stop. Melissa, one of the owners was fantastic. She was always extremely helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations for us. She even went above and beyond and walked with us to a shop to help us buy bus tickets to our next destination. Our room was spacious, clean and quite. We would definitely stay there again. For great pizza go down the street a block or so to "Alle Carrette".

Room Tip: There are only 4 rooms and ours faced the courtyard and was nice and quiet.

Kia ora. Nicolas Inn, Rome is in the heart of all the must see tourist spots! A stones throw from the Coloseum, 15 min walk to Trevi fountain, 10min taxi ride to Vatican! A good 15-20min walk from the train station, but well worth it for the location to the city's sights. Spacious room with nice big bathroom/shower room. Clean and tidy. The Hosts are happy to assist with any needs or concerns and information. We will recommend staying here to all we meet and will definitely stay again.

Mello, Turangi, New Zealand

Room Tip: Our room faced the street but we did not find it too noisy. With the windows closed, there was no issue with street noise.

My new wife and I were spending our honeymoon in Italy and Rome was the last stop. We are so glad to have booked our stay at Nicolas Inn. Francois and his wife, Melissa, were very pleasant! They showed us around the neighborhood, the best restaurants and gelaterias, and helped us to navigate the city. Our room was clean and spacious with a nice view of the indoor courtyard. The inn is very close to the Colosseum and Forums and is right on a bus route. Nicolas Inn was part of a great end to our Honeymoon.

This little b & b was ideally located in Rome. Short walk to Metro. Two blocks to coliseum, forum and many other central sights. Melissa and Francois were friendly and helpful in every way. Breakfast at a restaurant a short distance down the block was great. We would stay at Nicolas Inn again if we return to Rome.

We just returned from a month-long Italian holiday, where we spent 4 nights in Rome at Nicolas Inn. The location of the property is superb. It is within walking distance of almost every site in Rome, as my wife and I found out during our stay (we were many hours afoot). The owners, Francois and Melissa are both friendly and exceeding helpful. The room we stayed in was large and clean and very comfortable. The combination of the location, the staff and the value make Nicolas Inn a great place to stay
