The photos and remarks on this property were exactly as described. This is located about 2 blocks from the center of the Spanish Steps and in the heart of Italian Shopping. The terrace was wonderful in the evening to have cocktails and appetizers before going out to eat and perfect after dinner to reminisce about the day's adventures.

The kitchen was great for breakfast/lunch which the 6 of us could maneuver but seats four however there is a dining table just outside of the kitchen. The wash machine is small but has a 30 minute wash cycle which did a great job. There is a drying rack for the clothes to dry out on the terrace. An iron was available with board. The WiFi is slow but it did accomplish our needs. The elevator is nice to transport baggage but we walked the stairs to the top floor. The property is very comfortable and safe. I found this to be exceptional value for such a spacious apartment.

Bar Frattina across the street was perfect for a morning cappuccino. The food pack that was available before arrival it was a lifesaver since we traveled all day and arrived with refreshments.

The tours that we chose to the Coliseum and Vatican were very informative. Valentina was our guide and some confusion at the beginning but it all worked out and our group was very satisfied with the end results. Valentina had visual aids which really made the tour interesting. She was knowledgeable and was very objective with the history of Rome.

The entire staff which emailed, texted and phoned me was very helpful and met our needs.

“Nice, spacious apartment in great location”
Reviewed July 8, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Stayed here with my spouse and two children. Rome was our first stop on a two-week visit to Italy, and we wanted a place to stretch out for our first three days in Italy after flying from the U.S.

Frattina is in a great location, just off a mostly pedestrian street lined with some great shops and cafes. I made some great clothing purchases right next door! Very high-end designer shops (Versace, Gucci), are about a block away. Spanish Steps are very close. There's a cafe just steps away from the apartment where you can pop in for your morning espresso or a panini for lunch.

The apartment itself was nice and spacious for us, and wonderfully quiet. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. The apartment is a little older so there were some minor quibbles; you need to run the shower for a few minutes to get hot water, for instance. The kitchen was perfectly adequate. However, one of the coffee makers didn't work and the other was filled with dirty water. Otherwise, the apartment was clean.

The terrace is lovely and large with well-cared-for potted flowers and plants, and a large table. We enjoyed sitting out there a lot.

I would recommend this apartment.

“Great Location; Lovely Apartment”
Reviewed September 14, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

"Spanish Steps, Attic 4 BR 3 BR" proved to be an excellent choice to explore the centre of Rome, thanks to its splendid location. The apartment and its very spacious terrace provide a lot of attractive living space. The only downside is that access for moving in and out is difficult as there is little or no potential parking nearby, even for very limited periods, and police seem to be ready to move anyone on quickly. The property manager, Habitat Italy, was a very competent, reliable and easy to deal with.

“Excellent experience, great location, great apartment with huge terrace.”
Reviewed August 19, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The apartment and location were fantastic, the huge terrace was great for relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. Via Frattina is a located only steps from the Spanish Steps. The Pantheon and numerous other attractions are all with in walking distance. The Metro is located very close and only a couple of stops to the Vatican or the Colosseum. We actually walked back from the Colosseum twice and it only took about twenty minutes. The Habitat Italy team was great, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We booked a car through Habitat Italy and the driver was waiting for us when we got off the plane, no problems he knew exactly where to take us. Valeria was waiting for us outside the apartment and was wonderful in showing us around she even had the air conditioning on so the apartment was nice and cool. The apartment itself was safe, very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Valeria and Kristien were fantastic and could not have been more helpful during our stay. I would also like to thank Veronika for answering all my questions and for assisting us in booking Via Frattina.

I would highly recommend using Habitat Italy. The staff was very professional and made us feel welcome and comfortable, they were extremely helpful during our stay; I will defiantly use them again.
