“Wonderful!”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

We stayed at the Pantheon Palace from 18december to 22december 2013, after getting off of an 11 day cruise. The rooms are fantastic. We had the quadruple room (it has two full size bathrooms). The room was soooooo spacious. The entire hotel is very nicely decorated with 'real' furniture, not the normal bulk bought hotel furniture. It had antiques and artwork, more like staying at a bed and breakfast. Salvo was very inviting and sooo nice. He made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us a map with directions to places we wanted to go. The hotel is very centrally located in a very nice area. We walked with our two children to everywhere (even the Vatican and San Giovanni basilica). Very safe and clean area, just around the corner is a police stand (right before the piazza at the pantheon). Breakfast is at the owners restaurant on the piazza at the pantheon. Fabulous view. Breakfast is good, pastries, cold meats and cheese, cereal, juice, hot chocolate and cappuccino. Piazza Navona is less than five minutes walk. Trevi fountain is very close also. I would definitely stay at the De Rienzo Pantheon Palace again. I wish we had stayed longer. Thank you Salvo for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Book the large triple or quadruple room for plenty of space.

This is a great boutique apartment/hotel. LOCATION is GREAT! We walked everywhere from the hotel and everything is very simple and easy to get to, and you're walking on flat ground the whole time, there aren't any hills, so the walking to the sights of Rome is very easy. From our hotel we easily walked to the Vatican city, Colosseum, main shopping triangle, Trevi Fountain and so on.

The service is excellent, Salvo who runs it is very friendly and goes over and above for his guests.

The hotel itself is furnished beautifully, with very nice bedding, seating etc. The terrace area on the top floor is also wonderful, it's like a little haven sitting out there in the morning sun!
Our room was always made up to a very high standard, the entire room, bathroom and the whole hotel in general is very clean. You can tell it hasn't been smoked in as well which is great!

The buffet breakfast is basic but good and the staff in their restaurant are very helpful. It is the best located restaurant as well, with a full view of the Pantheon Palace!

There is another great square which is called the Piazza Navona which is very close to the hotel and it has excellent restaurants which surround the square, that you can sit at and watch the people go by, and wander through the square to look at the paintings for sale etc, it's a great atmosphere.

Overall an excellent stay, I will definitely be staying at this hotel again when I next come to Rome!

Our stay at Di Rienzo Pantheon Palace was perfect! Very clean and very comfortable. Very good location- very central and close from all the sightseeing places. The host, Salvo was extremely helpful & friendly and made us feel at home. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Rome next.

Loved our stay at Di Rienzo Pantheon Palace! Would recommend it to anyone who appreciates an intimate atmosphere with a local touch. Although the hotel is located next to many important sightseeing objectives, the street is quiet. Salvo, our host, is very kind and helpful!
In our room I very much liked the old parquetry and furniture which are preserved very nicely and combined with modern pieces creating exactly the right atmosphere to relax and feel welcomed.

We stayed at the Di Rienzo Pantheon Palace for three nights in October 2013.
The B&B is ideally located for visiting all the main tourist sites. It’s less than 5 minutes walk from the Piazza where breakfast is served in the Di Rienzo family Restaurant, overlooking the Pantheon.
The Vatican, St Peter’s Basilica, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Coliseum, The Forum and the Capitolino Museum are all within walking distance. There's a taxi rank at the side of the Pantheon if you don't like to walk.
The DiRienzo Pantheon Palace only has 5 rooms. We stayed in “Charlotte” on the top floor and were very pleased with the size of both the room and the shower room. It was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable.
There’s a very pleasant rooftop terrace just outside this room as well. Very nice for chilling out with a glass of wine if you have the time.
We were very warmly welcomed by our host, Salvo, when we arrived. There’s a fairly steep staircase to negotiate to get to the check in desk but Salvo took our bags up for us. There’s a service lift at the check in floor which takes bags to the next two floors if required. Salvo is a very good English speaker and was very helpful to us during our stay. He walked us to the Pantheon to show us the DiRienzo Restaurant where breakfast is served (it’s open all day for meals and drinks too). He also gave us good advice on how to get where we wanted to go. We booked the Pantheon Palace by chance having found it on the internet. If we return to Rome we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Grazie Salvo, you helped make our first visit to Rome even more memorable.

fabulous bed and breakfast! when in Rome do as the Romans! This exquisite bed and breakfast, an impeccably restored villa with 5 private rooms situated in a cul de sac behind the Pantheon - we loved it so much we didn't want to leave. We were treated like royalty and I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable authentic italian experience. Breakfast at the family owned cafe in the Pantheon square was like an Audrey Hepburn movie..divine..
