“A good located hotel!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

The first impression you get of Hotel Forte is amazing, it lies in a small and quiet street, only a few minutes walk from The Spanish Steps, Vila Boghese and Via Del Corso! So if you wanna stay right in the midle, Hotel Forte is an excellent choice!

The rooms are small, but that's just Rome! The room was very clean, and we got new towels every day. The continental breakfast was good, a lot of different things to choose from!

The service level on Hotel was great as well! I can highly recommend this Hotel, and if you stay here, take a walk in the street, there are many small different galleries!

Dear Sir / Madam

I thank you for the wonderful review you wrote about Hotel Forte. The location of the hotel is unique, and Margutta is truly one of the most beautiful streets of Rome, the cradle of artists and poets since the early twelfth century. I hope to see you soon here at the Hotel Forte.

Best Regards

This was our second trip to Rome and it was great to have a hotel more centrally located. We had a huge double bed and our room was really quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We thought too that the breakfast was good for Italy. Yummy pastries!!

Stayed for five days in a minuscule twin room, with a wonderful air conditioner. The hotel staff was helpful although for day trips outside of Rome not as strong. Breakfast was fine, not stellar, but coffee - mmmm. But best of all is the location. So close to the Spanish Steps and all the sites (Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona) and easy access to everywhere via the Metro at Spagna. We walked to almost everywhere.

Dear Sir / Madam

Thank you very much for the wonderful review you wrote about Hotel Forte. Unfortunately, some of our rooms have space a little tight but it is the price to pay to stay in a historic building (the palace of the Hotel Forte was until 1700 the famous THEATRE ALIBERT) in the heart of Rome. I hope you'll come back soon.

This is our second trip to Rome. For the first one we stayed in Hotel Majestica (it was our honeymoon!) That was a lovely hotel however, we will now always go to Hotel Forte.

Hotel Forte's location is spot on. Right near the Metro, Spanish Steps and the main shopping area.

We got a taxi transfer from the airport and got to our hotel at around 2030hrs. We used Rome Shuttle taxi limousine service, and had a private taxi for 40Euro. Their service was great, very professional.

Once you get the the hotel, you are met by some huge main doors, they are impressive, you then go up one floor on a typical old lift. Check in was straight forward. Our room was spotless, bed was like a marshmallow, so soft and comfy! Maids cleaned the room daily, and changed the bedding and towels on a daily basis too. The breakfast was typical for Italy. Everything was fresh, and plentiful, coffee was lovely.

We feel this hotel was great value for money, spotless, and bang on for location. I have seen a lot of people on Trip advisor moaning about the size of the rooms, yes they are small, but your in a very old building, in the CENTRE OF ROME!!

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a clean, value for money room, in the city centre.

Excellent value for money to be had at Hotel Forte in the heart of Rome. This place is in a great location with excellent access to some of the best shopping in Rome, and just around the corner from the Spanish Steps. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast which is included in the room rate was very good. However, the bathroom was small with a miniscule shower box, you would not want to be a plus size person as you would not be able to actually get into the shower. As it was i had to enter sideways. This does not deter from my overall experience though, as the room was nice, clean and had a comfty bed.

Dear Sir / Madam

Thank you very much for the review you wrote about us. Unfortunately some of the bathrooms present in our rooms offer space slightly cramped, but this is a small problem of all the hotels that are located in the heart of Rome. I am very happy that you enjoyed our staff and I hope you come back soon.

My parents and I went to the hotel MLK weekend in January. It's hard to find a decent hotel that will accommodate a triple and the hotel was quaint. Room was clean and bathroom good size. The hotel lobby is very small so if you need a break from the room - not much to stretch out.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, and lovely location!
