Rich was an absolute amazing tour guide for 2 days of our visit to Rome. He is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met! He knew tons of information and was able to get us into the Vatican and coliseum without waiting in lines. He explains every thing in terms that are understandable. I truly feel we saw much more than we thought possible! Bring your walking shoes! Thanks Rich, your the best!!

Rich was a wonderful guide and was extremely knowledgeable of the Vatican and ancient Rome. We had a group of 6 friends spend a day and a half with Rich on a walking tour, through the back streets to see all of the best sights in ancient Rome. He also lead us to the best gelato in Rome and the finest leather shops in the city. Rich was very friendly, funny and fit right in with our group. An absolutely wonderful experience, can't say enough great things about Rich.

I have traveled a lot and seen a lot of tour guides and Rich is simply one of the best, if not THE best. Extensive knowledge, amazing energy and the ability to keep the audience engaged, it has been a great experience to be part of Rich's tours. I went on a Vatican and Ancient Rome tours with Rich.

We (10 of us) had a tour with Rich on June 4th, 2018. He took us to the Colosseum, The Forum, Palatine Hill and the Vatican. It was a wonderful day and made so much better by Rich's vast knowledge (even though we might have drifted off sometimes ) and how well he navigated us through line ups and the hustle and bustle of the City. We enjoyed your company Rich and thank you so much for the incredible day. We will definitely recommend you to any friends heading to Rome!

My wife and I made a trip to Rome in June of 2018 and Rich made our trip truly memorable. The first day we did an amazing tour of the Vatican with Rich and it was fantastic. Rich is funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly seems to have the answer to anything you want to know about the Vatican and what you will see on your tour. He's patient and really does a good job and tailoring his tour to his audience. The second day we did a tour of ancient Rome which included the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. Again, this tour was truly phenomenal. I couldn't imagine going to those sites without a tour guide in general as there really is just so much to take in and absorb. Rich does a fantastic job at picking the highlights and main points to really maximize your visit. I can't recommend this guy highly enough! Thank you Rich!

We LOVED our tour with Rich and are so happy we toured with him. We did a two-day tour. The first day, we toured with Rich for 4-5 hours through the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. The second day, we toured through the Coloseum and Roman Forum. My family and I (consisting of adult children) couldn’t have been happier with the tour. We learned a lot of great information. Rich answered all of our questions and tailored the tour and information to our interests. We never would’ve had this exceptional experience with a large tour company or visiting the sites on our own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The only way to tour Roma!

We have had the pleasure of traveling the world and learned quickly having a private guide is a game changer! We are spending a month in Rome, and sat up our guide immediately. Rich Brunn came highly recommended and WOW, he was as amazing as everyone said!! So great that we booked him already twice, and will be able to learn from him over and over during our stay. He has a plethora of knowledge, and is fun and absolutely charming!! He not only told us more information on each site than we had anticipated, but he eagerly answered each of our questions. Rich used analogies that made historical facts clear and extremely interesting. He constantly shares insights and enthusiasm for Rome - this while walking backwards! :) He is a historian and taught for a short while. As great as he is as a guide, I could only imagine students missing out on having a teacher that is so very passionate about European History!!

My family and I took the Ancient Rome tour with Rich (Colosseum and Ancient Forum) recently. Rich had been recommended to us by friends who toured with him because they had been told about him by friends who had previously toured with him.
In four hours Rich opened up the world of ancient Rome to us. We did a fair bit of walking and covered hundreds of years of history in this short time and it was a most enjoyable morning.
Rich talks with great passion about a subject he obviously knows very well, and makes it accessible and interesting to both adults and teenagers.
What we found really helpful was the iPad he carried along to show visually how some of the ruins may have originally looked and how they have changed over the years, even since he has been living in Rome.
