We searched the shop a lot but it was worth. It is a tiny ice cream shop near the square Saint Peter. The prices are normal (€2 for piccolo, €3 for medium), they have 8-10 tastes. The chocolate is like heaven and the fruity tastes are pretty good.

We came by Hedera based on our position and on a quick look on the tripadvisor city app. We were not disappointed, the guy behins the counter suggested the crushed coffee ice with cream as Italians like sometimes in the morning. It was a really good suggestion and me and my girlfriend liked it a lot! The employee (or owner?) was very kind in a very honest way, not the sometimes forced behaviour you see in Rome. I would definitely recommend this place!

Found this clean beautiful place which is very close to he Vatican by accident. The gellato was excellent ,especially loved the melon and the fig flavours. It tasted like fruit melting in your mouth.

This gelato shop on Borgo Pio near St. Peter's Square & the Vatican is a new kid on the block as far as gelato shops go. It was not in this location last summer. The gelato was okay, but not outstanding. The difference is the owner. He doesn't speak a lot of English, but he does his best and is so welcoming. A very pleasant experience. A friend walked into the shop by herself late at night on her birthday. The owner wouldn't let her pay for her gelato. Now that's a great owner and great customer service. Kudos!
