I had an excellent experience at this hotel! My room was very nice, modern and comfortable. The bed was perfect; I slept better than at home
The breakfast on a small, cozy and sunny terrace was a perfect start of the day. There is a big choice at the breakfast buffet.
In the evening we took some nice cocktails at the hotel bar. Here there are many drinks to choose from and the prices are absolutely reasonable.
The hotel manager perfectly explained me all the directions and recommended few great restaurants.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Metro station and next to the Vatican. You can find everything around it: shops, cafeterias, restaurants, gelaterias, etc.
I will definitely come back here on my next stay.

We were moved to this hotel after floods in our other hotel, so not our first choice. Newly opened in an austere old building next to the Vatican, they have done their best to 'design out' much of the feeling of being in the quarters of some Benedictine order.

Tiled floors, old style air conditioning, but bright and white where it counts. Comfortable large beds, double glazing, but those annoying eco lamps that the don't light up fast by the beds. Cold free water in the fridge.

By Rome standards, this family of young architects' run hotel is good value, particularly given its location where you see the size of the Vatican queues snaking round the walls. The area is lively and doesn't quieten down till quite late.

A reasonable choice for active consideration.

Room Tip: Some rooms have quiet private terraces - ask when you book.

I have been in Hearth Hotel for 3 days last month and I find a very good place to stay in Rome: people in the hotel is really nice and generous and Guido helped me in every requirement. He was present anytime and explained me how to reach the most important places of the city.
Rooms are very confortable and they seems 4 stars and not only 3...it`s really closer to Vatican and to metro station and all for a resoneable price. Actually I`m sure that I will be again there.

We stayed at Hearth hotel during the Pope´s inauguration and got very good service. Guido Callocchia and his staff were doing everything to make us feel welcome and even upgraded us to their suite the last night. The hotel is quite new, located in an old house but has been totally refurbished in a modern, yet beautiful way by Arianna Callocchia, Guido's sister. The surroundings are charming and the location wonderful. We can warmly recommend this small, familiy run hotel.

Me and my wife recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, Guido was a very charming and professional host.
This trip was planned at the very last minute, for the election of the new Pope, but Guido was nice enough to give us an upgrade to a great room with overlooking at the Vatican!
The hotel is new, well furnished, and with all amenities. The bar was great, Guido is an amazing barman too!
We'll stay at Hearth hotel again!

I spent six nights in the Hearth Hotel during the Conclave 2013. Everything in my room was new, I was told that I was the first person to sleep in the bed. Guido Callocchia, the manager, is a very kind and helpful person. The hotel has nice, modern lobby and is very clean. It is very close to the Vatican. I can highly recommend it.
