Little hole in the wall place, but good food here. We came here on our first night in Rome after a long day of flying for something quick and easy. Zizzi didn't disappoint! The service was good and the staff was really nice - the couple of guys that helped us all spoke good English, and were happy to give advice as to what to get. The pizza tasted great, but my only criticism was that the crust was super thin - to the point of being soggy. My girlfriend's pizza wasn't that way, so it may have just been an anomaly. Heads up - they don't serve round pizzas until 7 pm, so before that is only by-the-slice. This is a pretty common feature in Italian pizzerias, so make sure to check the timing of the switch before you make a decision.

We stopped into Zizzi Pizza for lunch during our stay in Rome 1. because it was recommended to us by a friend and 2. it was within walking distance to our hotel and we were starved after a morning of site seeing. We were so glad to have tried it because the pizza (and i am not ashamed to say i tried MANY of their varieties) were delicious. This is pizza a taglio so you don't get the whole round pie (at least not for lunch service). My husband and I tried the margherita, a slice or two with pancetta and prosciutto and one with veggies along with their Roman suppli` (rice balls) which were on point and remind me of the ones I grew up eating. Small place with just a few tables and probably a little more expensive than i had imagined but definitely worth it. Wish i had a few slices right about now!

We knew this pizza place was up the rd from our hotel.
We grabbed take out. Freshly made round spicy sausage pizza & 3 slices margarita (they are very big slices too!)
The price was €13.50
Size alone was worth it but freshly made, fantastic tasting pizza. It was far too hot to eat inside & only a couple of tables...
If you're in the area- get it to go! It will be some of the nicest pizza you will try in Rome x

This small "hole in the wall" restaurant is a perfect place to eat and experience real Italian Pizza. The service was very welcoming and super friendly. The only negative thing I can say is eating in side the restaurant is hot. We moved outside to eat our meal. Aside from that one tiny detail, this is an amazing place. If I get the chance I would definitely eat here again!
