Such a good pizza! Service is quick and the ingredients are selected and mixed up with "buon gusto". Everyone is gentle and the place is clean. I can tell you it is very cheap as well!

The guy (owner?!) is simply fabulous and despite it being 36 degrees outside and probably hotter inside, all of that was forgotten when we ate the pizza and more particularly, the fried baby fish! The food was just divine! They also have rustic and artisan drinks which was refreshing! Definitely worth a visit!

The people are super friendly and great. Good pizza with great variety. Buy by the slice, so you can try different toppings. Great value for money, and they are constantly making fresh pizzas.

After visiting the colosseum we were in need of lunch. So glad we made our way up to Zizzi! It was delicious and a deal! I have a cheese intolerance and got a delicious cheese free & veggie pizza. The pizza dough tasted fantastic and the veggies were nicely roasted. They also had a mushroom one that looked very good. My mom had salami and mushroom, she absolutely loved it! My sister had the cheese pizza that had a variety of cheeses and was flavored with some ground pepper. Also, they had a tasty arancini. In addition, the service was very friendly! Overall, we had three generous pizza slices, arancini, and 2 sodas for 15 euros---amazing!

Seven of us walked from the Colosseum to Zizzi Pizza. My 10 year old girl up through me, a 50 year old man, made the 20 minute mini-hike to this restaurant. We were 18 days all across Italy, I grew up in Philadelphia, which rivals any pizza in the world... Guess what, Zizzi pizza is thē BEST! The ingredients are all fresh. The crust is outstanding. 8 or 9 euros for each pizza about ten inches in diameter, completely worth it. There are about 4 little tables total at this place. Our family of 7 strong just stood around one table outside. The creativity of this little pizza joint was impressive. In the end, we bought probably 6 whole round pizzas and 7 or 8 slices. It seemed like a family affair, as what turned out to be the owner's dad hung outside with us. He was so cool! So funny, full of smiles and he let chat it up with him in my basic Italian. This hole-in-the-wall pizza joint was one our favorite highlights! What pizza didn't we try? There were eggs, prosciutto, olives, margherita, tomatoes, different kinds of cheese, mushrooms, and more, and all combinations. All amazing.
