Trastevere is a perfect neighborhood to stay in while in Rome. It is within walking distance to the major sites and the neighborhood is full of restaturants, bars, shops and grocers. We loved this apartment with the large bedroom, full-sized bathroom, full living room and ample kitchen. Our hosts were wonderful and communication was excellent. You need to notice that the apartment is on the third floor with no lift, but our hosts made sure that we knew this. They were willing to help with any questions or transportation requirements. I would definitely stay here again.
The location was nearby restaurants, public transport and accessible by train and buses. The apartment was very neat, with stylish furniture and contained everything that we expected and needed. Claudia the contact person, was very helpful and always available in case of a problem. The only downside (for a 76 year old like me) was to overcome the challenge of the three storey spiral stairs with our baggage.
We really enjoyed this apartment! So spacious , clean, and nicely decorated. Large bathroom with large counter. Washer/dryer-large living space. Our 6’1” boy comfortably slept on fold out. Master bed could be better but not bad. Claudia was so responsive and helpful. She really goes all out. Great neighborhood lots of very good restaurants . Steep stairs into apt but we were prepared and expected in Italy. We would stay here again in a second!
I loved this apartment. It was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room. Claudia met us the first day and helped us by leaving us with some yummy breakfast food. We loved the neighborhood as it was within walking distance of the major tourist attractions. The neighborhood was very lively and full of cute restaurants and shops.
Our only concern was the climb up and down the marble stairs. Be very careful! Hold onto the railing. Also, I believe there is a camera in the front room to protect the guests. I’m not sure if it records everything going on in the front room. You may want to ask.
Overall, we loved our stay in this beautiful apartment.
Loved the apartment. Claudia was v helpful. Great location, close to all the sights with plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.
There is a lot of pride of ownership in this apartment-- it is clear to see from the cleanliness, the thoughtfulness in detail from the kitchen (some food, napkins, paper towels already furnished with thoughtful colorful dishes and flatware), family room and bedroom, this apartment get so many things right and it is something I have not seen in the scores of times I have been in Rome.
The tall ceilings, the layout is fantastic; the windows and natural sunlight helps set a great atmosphere and looking down on the terracotta rooftops below makes this more special. The attention to detail from the lighting to the lightbulbs (yes, these were all new and exceptional as well) again no detail was missed.
The complex itself is very quiet; no loud music or thumps and bumps from the neighbors, and no noises from outside the door from the other folks living in the complex-- it is a great place to relax if you do not want to walk around Rome and just stay in a chill. The street sounds from below were comforting and for Trastevere really not an issue-- if fact I welcomed the sounds as it was so quiet otherwise.
The location is very convenient and walking (for me at least) to the Vatican or the Spanish steps is very easy to negotiate and taxi stands are in two nearby locations if you are in a rush.
The emails and the texts with Claudia and Antonio were comforting-- they work hard at making this apartment a great experience and their communication never had me worried about arriving too early for my check in and these two made the entire experience seamless.
There are a few steps to go up to the apartment it is on the top floor... I think like 50... but this IS Rome so if you are shy about climbing steps or any type of physical activity you may be in for a surprise as there are stairs and steps to climb throughout the city. The steps to this apartment were not a big deal and knowing what kind of apartment awaits at the end of the climb was well worth it!
There is a washer for your clothes, a toaster, a great stove top and oven, plenty of hot water, wifi fresh linens and the list goes on and on... I would recommend this to anyone looking for a holiday rental near the city center of Rome and I would plan to stay again when I return.
This apartment was perfect. It was a great lively location, close to plenty of fantastic restaurants and a great little piazza. Claudia met us at the apartment and showed us around. She also provided some basics for breakfast which was great. 15ish minute walk to either the Pantheon or the Vatican. A great location to navigate the city on foot. The apartment itself was very clean, charming and was even nicer than the photos let on.
