“Great food and perfect staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014 via mobile

This is the perfect place to taste local food and wine, served in a unique way. Unfortunately it is just for 10-12 people, so if you find a table get it immediately - the best: you can buy what you eat. Tip: trust the staff

“A lovely change”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

After reading many reviews on TA i was determined to find this little place for my o/h and i to have lunch, and how glad i was we did
It was so nice, although i could have eaten the whole plate to myself!
The lady spoke some English which was good as i was worried about what to ask for as there is no menu, just ask for a sharing plate (6 euros), and washed down with a small glass of wine at 2 euros was perfect
A very cheap lunch for sure, i was just gutted i could only take hand luggage home so therefore couldn`t buy anything without it being taken off me

“Honest, delicious antipasto”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2014

I have visited this small place when on two different trips to Rome, and certainly we head here again. It is not an obvious place from the outside. It appears as a small deli when you walk in, but there are a few bench tables. The owners are welcoming, and the produce they provide is superb. They have a selection of Italian beers and wine. There is no menu but they will provide a great plate of different hams, salami's, cheese and preserves, and the selection depends on what is available. It only costs €6, brilliant for the quality and quantity. There is a good flow of locals through he door, who come an appreciate the produce. Please be clear this is. to a restaurant where you come for a formal meal but somewhere to call in for a antipasto and a drink.

“Charming, authentic and delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

We stop here for antipasto, because the place is just so cool, and the platters of meat, cheese and bruschetta are fantastic. Great music, charming and earnest host, and a one of a kind experience. Not to be missed if you find yourself in Trastevere.

“It is exactly what the opinions reflect”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014

It's not a fancy restaurant, of course: it's a very nice and friendly place to visit, have a couple of artisanal beer, cheese and ham. It's very hidden but it's worth the walk.
