“Can't Wait to Return, Superlative!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

Received a referral for this B&B from our daughter's host family in Rome, and what an enjoyable experience we had. We spent 14-days here, visiting with our daughter who is studying at Loyola's John Felice Rome Center and seeing the sights of Rome. Our room was the Water room, and it had a private bathroom, a balcony, and a very comfortable king size bed. The room was furnished very nicely with a wardrobe with drawers and 2 nightstands, a small table and chairs, a mini refrigerator, and flat screen TV with Sky cable. There is also a mini safe in the room. This Zone of Rome was very quiet, and the room kept out any street noise very well. The WiFi available was fast and reliable, which was important as my husband had to connect to a business meeting using Facetime and had no problems whatsoever. For our sight-seeing, we were only a 10-15 minute walk from the Vatican and visited there often. We became pros at using the 2 lines of the Rome Metro to get to the Colosseum, the Capitoline Museum, the Victor Emmanuel Monument, Arcibasilica San Giovanni in Laterano, and to the Termini train station to catch a train to Milan for the day. Bus lines were very close as well, and our gracious hostess Marianna helped us to determine what route we should take to visit the Rome campus that sits atop Monte Mario in the upper Balduina zone. Marianna speaks English very well, and we had no issues communicating. This B&B is her passion, and it shows. Italian style breakfast with yogurt, fruit, toast, pastries, mini cheese and Italian salami sandwiches, coffee, tea, cafe...it was not lacking. Very clean and modern, as the B&B renovations were completed in January of 2013. We cannot wait to return, as we now have a very good friend in Roma. We miss you Marianna!

My wife and I did a LOT of research before we chose a place to stay in Rome. We based our decision on three things: reviews, private bathroom, and price. We could not have been happier with our decision. We stayed in the Fire room with a balcony and lovely view. The room was very clean and well furnished. Wifi worked like a charm, and we no issue with street noise. We stayed in 3 other B&B's while in Italy, and Marianna was by far the most gracious and helpful host. During breakfast, we enjoyed helping each other with English and Italian. Her English is far better than my Italian, and we had no problems communicating at all, but she's always looking to practice and improve her vocabulary. The location was ideal. Easy walk to the Vatican, shorter walk to the subway. Bus stops around the corner as well. Marianna and her associate Giovanna run a first-class establishment!

Room Tip: We had the Fire room and loved it.

Excellent location, close to the subway and the Vatican. The host (Marianna) extremely friendly and nice, treats you like a family member not as a client. A modern and new interior, at the same time extremely clean and comfortable. Italian style breakfast but extremely varied. For us, as a couple, was a dream city break mostly because of the way we were welcomed in this superb location. We will return, for sure.

We spent a 10-day honeymoon there and have absolutely no complaints :) The owner Marianna is very kind and helpful, and the place is exactly as shown on pictures. All rooms are very nicely furnished, each has an element as a theme, it's all very nicely thought out. Public transport is as good as promised, metro is near, there are also buses taking you to different parts of the city. There is a supermarket, a post office, a pharmacy, many restaurants and cofee shops nearby. Rooms are very clean, cleaned daily, bedsheets and towels were changed every couple of days. Wifi's got proper bandwidth as well.

Room Tip: If I remember correctly, 3 out of 4 rooms have balcony, ask before reservation if it's important...

Only superlatives can describe this brand new B&B, which used to be a law firm and is now transformed in a 5* B&B.

Every bedroom and bathroom are beautifully decorated around one of the 4 Aristotelian elements (earth, air, water and fire). I stayed in the earth room.
The mysterious fifth element (ether, αἰθήρ) can still be found in the name of this fantastic place ('etere' in Prati; Prati being the name of the neigbourhood).

Here you can enjoy all the conveniences a classy hotel can offer and yet feel at ease as if one is at home.

The owner (Marianna Stazzone) is very hospitable and will go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay memorable.

It was once believed that the gods lived in 'Etere' and indeed staying here is divine. It will in any case be difficult to find a better place to stay if you want to visit Rome or the Vatican City.

I stayed at this lovely B&B in July, having come from a 5 star hotel in Venice I wasn't expecting too much in comparison. However as soon as I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful, very clean, very spacious and extremely modern room I was given. The owner/host of the B&B was more than happy to go over and above in service and that is certainly what she has done for the rooms too. They are beautifully furnished with lots of lovely little surpises you wouldn't expect in a B&B. The lovely host put on a nice little breakfast each morning and even made some beautiful Tiramisu's too. There are limited rooms so I would suggest booking quickly! Enjoy your stay in this gorgeous B&B, I did.
