We had three nights in Rome and had some free time to look around, Sal and Andrea gave us a good overview of things to see and places to visit. They also recommended some great restaurants that cater for English menus which make it easier to read. Everything about our stay here was absolutely fantastic, we cannot say enough. Close to the Central Train station, plenty of restaurants nearby, lots of small convenience shops etc....Our room was fantastic and had a view through the windows which could open and allow fresh air in. There was a small fridge which we could put some drinks and things in which we found handy. Breakfast was great, croissants, cereal, meats and cheeses, plenty of tea & coffee. A great way to get started. We had a tour leave at 6.45am and Andrea came in early to bake us fresh croissants & make sure we had a good breakfast before leaving. They offered lots of tips and made sure we always felt safe during our stay. You can take the lift or stairs your choice. Excellent staff all round, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Our room had a window that opened to the side street, request a room facing the front to get a great...

My wife and I do not typically stay at B&Bs, but rather, full service hotels. Domus Liberius was highly recommended, so we decided to end our 2+ week stay in Italy with two nights in Rome before returning home to the States. What a special gem! Well located, spotless and very nicely appointed, the accommodations were quite comfortable (the A/C was great!) and exceeded our expectations. In fact, of all of the hotels we stayed at in Italy (including 4 star), Domus Liberius was the ONLY one in which the television actually worked properly. Sal and Lisa are gracious hosts and offer sound advice regarding the nearby restaurants and places of interest.

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary and had mentioned that in our booking. Upon arrival we were greeted by their staff who introduced us to Sal. Sal gave us an overview and brief orientation of Rome. Sal and Lisa were very welcoming and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, etc.
We booked a triple room for 6 days, which was very comfortable and large and had a shared kitchen on the floor we were staying on, which is in addition to the main dining room where breakfast is served daily. The next day we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne with 2 glasses in our room, thanks to Sal and Lisa.
As many other guests have noted, we have to give special recognition and praise to Andreea, who manages operations and runs the Breakfast Service. She made us feel so special and is so accommodating with every need whether it be advice on sites to visit, transportation, restaurants, etc. We especially enjoyed our morning capucino's made by Andreea and our brief conversations. At our last Breakfast, she made our capucino's and put a "heart" design on top, which really meant alot to us. She is truly a great asset to Domus Liberius and we highly recommend the Domus Liberius if you really want to be treated as Family.

We had two days in Roma on the way to Sicily so wanted a nice place near the train stain. Domus Liberius was great for our stay. Super nice management and staff, a nice bright room with a view of Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. Can't say enough about the quality of the staff, very helpful and interesting people.

The road outside can be somewhat loud but the windows in our room were new high quality windows that made sleep no problem.

We have enjoyed our 2-nights stay in a triple room at the hotel in Rome. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff when arrive at 10:30 pm, she provided us with comprehensive tour information in Rome. The hotel is well located in the Central Rome - only 5 minutes walk from the Central railway station where airport express departs every half hour in addition to the coaches. It is also close to the major attraction Colosium (15 min walk) and the Rome Forum. The set up of the hotels rooms is unusual, which were scattered at the different sections and floors of an old building, but our room was clean, modern and spacious. The service from the staff and the owner has been excellent. Only downside is its lack of an obvious sign outside on the building and the different locations of its rooms and office make may be confusion on your first day. I feel it is more suitable for those travel with family/friends on vacation than the solo travelers with a short stay.; overall an excellent experience, I will certainly stay there if I visit Rome again in the future.

Well my wife and I stayed at Domus Liberius for 4 days/nights. Whilst everything there runs smoothly the secret in my view to their success and high rating is an employee called Andrea. It is her passion for her job and dedication to the clients at Domus Liberius that makes this place so very special. Andrea received us when we arrived and explained the whole Rome vibe to us. She asked if it was our first time, looked at our itinerary and made suggestions which due to her knowledge saved us valueable time and money. What i liked about Andrea was how excited she gets with all the visitors at Liberius when discussing Rome and where to go. Breakfast is normally served at 8am and as we had to leave very early at 7 the one morning I was astonished to see that Andrea especially came in that morning at 6am in order to prepare us breakfast. When I asked her why she came in just for us she did not try to take credit herself but she told me that Domus Liberius wants their clients to feel at home and that is what "Domus" means and she is "just doing her job by trying to create a home for everyone away from home" . It was this personal touch which made us feel that we were special. I can also compliment the breakfast that they serve which consists of boiled egges and very fresh croisssants/rolls that they take out of the oven whilst you are having breakfast. Also cereal ,yoghurt, orange juice and best of all freshly grounded coffee. I loved staying there.Henk Crouse

My first B&B experience and It was wonderful. Lisa and Sal made us feel very welcome. andrea gave us directions and tips on all the sites. The room was very clean and modern. I love the bathroom, clean and very roomy. The best part is ther location. Not "very"close to all the sites so you don't have so many tourist all over the streets when you want to get some down time for yourself. It's close enough that you can walk to all of the sites or hop on a cab from the cab stand across the street. Not to mention you have Santa Maria Magiore Basilica outside your window.. Can't wait to come back...
