Description: The Tiber Island finally back to the Romans with the opening of the Tiberino. The historic island bar, run by the family since 1936 Bungaro, in 2015 is renewed and becomes "Tiberino" by adding to the previous offer: bistrot and restaurant. An important step that introduces a real kitchen and new offers completely inexistent on the island. Open every day from morning to after dinner. The location makes it a unique place, ideal for business lunches, romantic dinners and drinks with friends in the heart of Rome. Tasted the best gelato on the island while in Rome taking a boat ride on the Tiber. Memorable flavors of hazelnut chocolate and cinnamon.

We ended up going back here every day on our trip to Rome for an ice cream. For 2 scoops of ice cream we found out in Italy is €2.50. Here you get a medium cone for that price and they jam pack onto it whatever flavours you want as well as whipped cream. The flavours are great (pistachio and nutella is my fave) and the staff are all lovely!

This cafe has incredible views and the paninis are quite good. Great way to end a day at the Coliseum. It also has pretty good gelatos. You can order to go or sit down. Get a table for a great atmosphere and cooling sprinklers.

Visted Rome last week, spent time sitting outside this caffe drinking Spritz and watching the world go by. Staff are so friendly, especially Nico, Francesca and Patrizia. Lovely atmosphere. Would definatley find this place again on my next visit to Rome.

Stopped here for a much needed rest at it was 36 degrees out!
Had an Elba Salad which was lovely and a few cokes. Also, couldn't leave without having gelato which was delicious!
We sat out in the courtyeard which had a lovely view.
Staff we all really nice.

This is a little caffe far from the traffic noise, near a charming bridge on the Tiber river. There's a lovely little terrace surrounded with jasmine. People there were just lovely, especially the manager (who looks so much like Cate Blanchett by the way!). We had the best aperol spritz there (twice!). And for our fellow smokers: it's also a tobacconist :)
This is definitely the kind of place we were looking for in Rome.
